Wikipedia:WikiProject Plants

Hi. I see you have been adding links to the above website, in the English wikipedia as 'see also' links. This appears to be entirely in Russian, and I am doubtful of its value to English speakers. Can I ask if you have discussed this anywhere? Thanks. Imc (talk) 15:40, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Further to the above, I have seen that I was misled by the dominant text which links to the root page, i.e. the text Plantarium Database - A Photo Guide.. Clicking on this takes a user to a page that is not useful. The link to the plant page, e.g. Salvia is pretty small by comparison. Thanks, Imc (talk) 17:55, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Plantarium Database is the largest Northern Eurasia plant image collection containing now 7780 illustrated taxa, that can't be found anywhere else. Plant names are in Latin so the Database is useful for anyone. For example, Salvia genus page give you access to the Salvia species gallery and Salvia verbascifolia page and other species page.
