List of Boston Latin School alumni

[edit]

"Any material lacking a reliable source may be removed, but editors might object if you remove material without giving them sufficient time to provide references, and it has always been good practice, and expected behaviour of Wikipedia editors (in line with our editing policy), to make reasonable efforts to find sources onesself that support such material, and cite them."

This passage was taken from Wikipedia:Verifiability. I am not trying to remove all of these names from the list permanently. It is my hope that I can find a citation for all of these people. However, if I were to leave unsourced names on the list it would not meet Wikipedia's standards for a featured list. Ever since I started making vast improvements to this article one week ago, I have wanted to make this list as complete as possible. I have even added names that had been missing. Furthermore, since the time I commented out unsourced names, I have found citations and added them back. Examples include Jack O'Callahan and John F. Fitzgerald. I have not deleted these names from the article source; I left them there so people can easily add references. --Pgp688 (talk) 01:34, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, looks like I missed his name and two other people when I converted the list to a table, thanks for pointing that out. --Pgp688 (talk) 01:50, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am trying to add citations. I have added at least one every day. Yesterday, I added John F. Fitzgerald. The day before, John King. Rome wasn't built in a day; this list won't be either. Every citation on this was provided my me, except a single one. I strongly encourage you to add sourced names to this list. It is my hope that these unsourced names are invisible temporarily. --Pgp688 (talk) 01:55, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
