User talk:Sir Smith
I received your message. (I see you left the same message to two other editors.)
I am confused. I have reverted a fair number of vandalized articles today. To what article are you referring? If it is to Champlain Valley Union High School, please check the edit histories to see exactly what changes I reverted.[[1]];[[2]] I doubt that the school song has anything to do with eating babies, or raping, pillaging, or burning. If I am in error on this, please provide attribution. If you have confused me with others, perhaps the message should have been left only on their page and not on mine. If you think you have left it on mine in error, maybe you would like to take it off mine. Thank you. Kablammo 22:15, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- I also am confused... the three statements I removed consisted of (verbatim): "QUITE POSSIBLY ONE OF THE STRANGEST SCHOOLS IN VERMONT" (which is highly NPOV), "EAT THE BABIES" (which is inappropriate and nonsensical), and Kablammo's aforementioned comment about the school song consisting of eating babies, raping, etc. You commented on the fact that if I was "going to make armchair improvements," I might as well delete the entire article except the link to the school's website, and that I had in fact deleted the only part of the article worth reading. While I'm not sure which of the above edits you are referring to, none of them contained any content (with the possible exception of the last, see Kablammo, above). Wikipedia is not based on entertainment value, but on factual content.
Also, when possible, comments to users should be left on their Talk page, not on their User page. (The Swami 23:22, 5 November 2006 (UTC))
