Disruptive behaviour

This is your first formal warning, from me. You are easily the most disruptive long term editor on wikipedia I've come across so far. The behavour you showed on Falun Gong pages seems to be similar if not the same on China pages.

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=China&diff=652742474&oldid=652722944 (failed to provide a reason for your edit on a very high profile page)

If someone is indicted for Genocide I can see no reason why it shouldn't be on their article. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wu_Guanzheng&diff=654235648&oldid=654197132 https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jia_Qinglin&diff=654235841&oldid=654042500

And by the way I'm still learning to use wiki. You seem to be confusing me with someone else.Aaabbb11 (talk) 23:04, 31 March 2015 (UTC)

Electromagnetic hypersensitivity

Yo, why did you delete my edit? I worked hard and I think it is a legitimate contribution. I'm showing how the "disease" has appeared in pop culture. Panewithholder (talk) 15:17, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

(talk page watcher) Hi Panewithholder, thanks for your contribution. We normally don't keep sections on pop culture trivia in encyclopedic articles, because they tend to be poorly organized and grow into indiscriminate lists, and so they are very often controversial. If you think that a pop culture section would be useful in this article, you should discuss adding it at the article's talk page first. Ivanvector (talk) 15:33, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Thanks

I gotcha - I will start a discussion in the talk about itPanewithholder (talk) 21:47, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Shag Harbour UFO Discussion

Just FYI, there is a discussion on the Wikipedia Fringe Theories Noticeboard regarding the Shag Harbour UFO incident. They are discussing whether the article is notable enough to keep, and seem unaware that there was a discussion regarding notability last year. As you took part in that discussion I thought you ought to know. Again, just fyi. 2602:304:691E:5A29:4084:4CBE:99FE:9D05 (talk) 22:42, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

Namgyong listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Namgyong. Since you had some involvement with the Namgyong redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so.

Hey there, forgive the odd template. A few days ago I listed a bunch of redirects created by an IP (such as Namgyong) which target Asian cities and places, but don't correspond closely with any wording suggested at the target articles. Some other users have suggested that these might be a literal pronunciation of the place name in a different language (such as Ilbon or Yilbon = Korean for Japan) or a guess at a Romanization system (Beiching for Beijing). The IP seems to have been Korean but many of the places are Chinese, so I thought you might have some insight into whether these are things that an English reader (or ESL reader) might be likely to look for, or if they're essentially nonsense. The threads start at Namgyong and go down to Koria. Ivanvector 🍁 (talk) 15:04, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

Congrats

I shall be the first, if the least, to congratulate you on your forthcoming wedding to Ivanvector. I only know him from Wikipedia, but I can tell from that his honesty and good humour/humor shines through the screen. I wish you the worst of course, because there is nothing better on telly than a murder after marriage (If he takes out an insurance policy, start worrying).

With my sincere best wishes, joking aside, Ivanvector is a true asset to Wikipedia and don't take too much time away from him please. Rampant sex is OK (if WP:OR) but we have to discuss commas sometimes.

(talk page watcher) I think I may have misled you somewhere, SimonTrew - Simonm223 is my best man, not my spouse. But thank you for the kind wishes ;) Ivanvector 🍁 (talk) 17:30, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
Oh bugger. The intent is there anyway and I am not sure your traditions but you can stick that on a card to read at the ceremony or something as an aside. I truly meant it, that your good humour and good faith you are a credit to Wikipedia. Hard to say rather than shake someone's hand and look them in the eye and say it. But I meant it. I have four years under the belt and it gets harder every day (fnarr fnarr), best decision I ever made was marrying the missus. We were quite lucky cos the church was a hundred yards THAT way from our house and the pub was a hundred yards THAT way. The wedding procession, of course being the bloke I was not part of this, took the whole of two hundred yards to get from church to pub. My mate Richard had restored a 1949 Riley Pathfinder anűnd drove her the full two hundred yards. That's the way to do it. Si Trew (talk) 17:36, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
And I bought my wedding suit in the Portobello Road. Never mind. Lovely bit of cloth. Si Trew (talk) 17:38, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
That's the funniest message I've ever got on Wikipedia. It's going to be an awesome day either way, and Ivanvector's spouse is a wonderful person. Simonm223 (talk) 17:56, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
Ah, well you can't go far wrong if you have a Simon as the best man. Ivanvector is truly a great bloke from what I can see it kinda shines through the screen, so I am sure he has a great girl too, and I sincerely congratulate them both. (No sign of any insurance policies yet? I am still wondering about this mystery girl we never seem to see...) I lived, and got married here. I had to go to church on Sundays just to escape the noise of the bells. We were so poor we couldn't afford proper English guests so had to fly in her side of the congregation from Hungary. I know you're not around here much any more, but this could use input from someone who knows what they're talking about. I don't. ;) Ivanvector 🍁 (talk) 17:54, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

Sorry and Suggestions

I am sorry for my unprofessional attitude yesterday. I am quiet new, and this was a sensitive topic and got carried away. I respect your commitments. I also would recommend to you (just recommending, but choice is yours) to help improve the article: List of riots. Thank you. Logan11111112 (talk) 13:38, 9 August 2018 (UTC)

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Darryl.jensen (talk) 13:30, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

@Darryl.jensen:Oh yes, my one revert of an edit warrior who had hit 7RR in 24 hours and my second revert the next day of the same person's admitted sock puppet are such evidence of edit warring. You got me. </sarcasm>Simonm223 (talk) 13:35, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
;) Darryl.jensen (talk) 13:47, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

You are shutting down discussions and pushing your personal non-NPOV agenda. AND you are abusively using the revert tools, removing other people's comments, capping/hiding others, and simply tagging NOTAFORUM everything you disagree with. You are the perfect example of the few cabals wp:OWNing the agenda of a few select articles. 86.125.95.166 (talk) 11:26, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Wow I've never been accused of being in a cabal before. Is there a barnstar for that? Simonm223 (talk) 11:52, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

ANI

Sorry to bother you.

But there are many things that was taking out of context in that ANI report.

Just to make it clear, he was the one who started accusing me of stuff without having any proof of it.[1]

After that he called me a 12 year old.[2]

And then two other "Levantines" joined the argument.

And then i got ignored for 54 days, after i requested the user: Doug Weller to intervene, he rewrote the article without gaining a consensus in the argument.

I did the same, except without removing any sourced materials, just tweaked the statements to make it similar to the quoted sources and I've added new sourced materials.

how was my insults "more egregious"??!

I never directly insulted him on wikipedia.

I am just hoping that the other editors would look up the argument before making there decision, just like you did.

other than that, i think your Your stance was admirable. Nacirian (talk) 04:28, 22 August 2018 (UTC)

Your comments about what happened on Youtube prior to your arrival here was deeply incivil, and it's never appropriate to make comments about other editors' religions such as, "you're a christian? Not surprised." It takes two to tango, and you were both edit warring, but, if you are in fact a new user, you need to quickly learn that there are community standards for civility which you pretty clearly broke. Sure buddy, cautioning you that I would take the matter to ANI if you continued trying to game consensus once on your talk page counts as harassment. Nice try. Simonm223 (talk) 18:28, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
