Hi Simon, Wikipedia:Uploading images gives a good explanation of how to upload images onto Wikipedia - you do need to be an "autoconfirmed" user, so your account needs to be at least 4 days old and for you to have made at least ten edits. You'll find a link called "Upload file" in the Toolbox (which is to the left of this or any page). The process on Commons is similar. You will need to make sure you use the right copyright information - Wikipedia has strict rules about the use of logos and other copyrighted images, to protect the encyclopædia from legal action. Once you have uploaded an image, to add it to an article, just type [[Image:Imagename|thumb|caption]] in the article, where Image:Imagename is the name of the image, "thumb" stops it being too big, and "caption" is whatever caption you want for the image. I do hope this helps - but please do feel free to ask again if I haven't made sense! DuncanHill (talk) 12:07, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
