The article Red Reachtagáin has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Top Jim (talk) 18:48, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Red Reachtagáin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Can't find a single mention online of a "Red Reachtagáin" or an "Albert Schweitzer Institute Journal of Philosophy", and the sole WP:Verifiable reference cited only mentions Ben Noakes. Possible WP:HOAX.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Top Jim (talk) 19:29, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you wish to keep our conversation private, click on "My Preferences", then put in your email address in the appropriate blank and check off "Enable e-mail from other users". At that point you will be able to email me from my userpage by clicking "E-mail this user". I'm sorry there are so many steps but I don't want to give my email out to strangers. Red Reachtagáin

[edit]

Hello. The Amazon reference you cite in Red Reachtagáin lists only Ben Noakes, not Red Reachtagáin: can you please find a WP:Reliable source that the two names are the same person? Thanks, Top Jim (talk) 15:35, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bigger Digger re Red Reachtagáin

[edit]

The Schweitzer Institute verification is directly through their website (that's how I found their contact details) and I would suggest - not unreasonably - that verification from the Director of the Institute, and from the Editor of the Schweitzer Institute Journal of Philosophy, is more credible than a newspaper article. This is original research, straightforward and simple - or does Wikipedia only rely on newspaper and magazine articles? I very much hope not! Simon Harness (talk) 00:28, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Simon, I will copy this comment to the article talk page and reply there.

Nomination of Red Reachtagáin for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Red Reachtagáin, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Red Reachtagáin until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Top Jim (talk) 05:30, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
