Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added a {{hangon}} template to an article, Hercules Networks. In order for an administrator to evaluate whether the article should be speedy deleted or not, we request that you provide reasoning, on the article's talk page, for why it should remain. Thank you. I have deleted the article. Minimally, the article has to include sources other than your company's web site or other self-published material (annual reports, press releases, etc). If you have book or magazine references and use those to construct an article, it is more likely to be kept. The Uninvited Co., Inc. 17:41, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In reply to your question on the deletion page, the notability guidelines for corporations are here. The general guide is the presence of verifiable, non-trivial coverage in independent sources. The best way to establish that would be to cite coverage in nationwide, general interest print media. Failing that, coverage in nationwide print media with a limited audience (either something like Red Herring (magazine) or a magazine covering specific vertical markets) would be a second choice, with coverage in multiple publications, or in significant depth, or on a variety of dates, being preferred. Extensive coverage in local media could also be considered depending on the details. The main problem with the two sources you specify in your article is that the coverage is of limited depth.
