[edit]Hello, I'm JohnBlackburne. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Graphing calculator, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. In the article Trapezoidal rule you have inserted an external link which appears to be a SPAM (see WP:ELNO and WP:LINKSPAM for details on what is considered as a spam in wikipedia). It has been removed three times for this reason, by me and another user. You have reinserted it twice. This appears as a beginning of an edit war. if you continue to reinsert this spam, you may be blocked for editing (see three revert rule). Thus, please, stop to insert spams and to revert unduly the editors that remove them. D.Lazard (talk) 07:53, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
- Why wasn't it deleted earlier? It was on site very long. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Simamura (talk • contribs) 07:57, 17 September 2014
- Please, sign your post on talk pages (including your own talk page) with four tildes (~~~~).
- As this it requires human judgment, this kind of deletion cannot been done automatically, and requires that a watcher of the page takes the time to look at the link to decide if it is a spam. This explains why so many spams are not yet removed from many articles. Personally, I did not remark your link before its first revert by JohnBlackburne. OK. Thank you for clarification. Simamura (talk) 20:40, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
