Your edit to Elgin Marbles page
Hello there
I rewrote your recent contribution about the legality of the removal of the Elgin marbles to make the wording more neutral in POV. This was a newspaper report of comments by a representative of the Turkish government at a recent meeting of a UN Cultural Property committee. The emphasis should be on what the Turkish rep actually said rather than a Greek newspaper's spin on it.
Happy to discuss on the Talk page of the article. Aemilius Adolphin (talk) 09:33, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you, your improvements are welcome. However, if you don't mind, I have restored a much-needed clarity for what I think is worth noting to the readers unfamiliar with the history of the region. It doubt this could cause POV, since it is a well-established historical fact. [1]. Have a good day. --- ❖ SilentResident ❖ (talk ✉ | contribs ✎) 13:26, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- Didn't check History and added pretty much the same segment in the first section of the page, since this is an important development to the present issue. Feel free to modify/delete my piece. Will check out for this next time :) Andreas Mastronikolis (talk) 16:11, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
