Thanks for the clarification, if you don't get answers right away, feel free to repost the section once it goes off the top of the board. (I can do that for you if necessary. If so, leave a note on my talk page.) In the meantime there was a lot of discussion of the matter if you are interested. μηδείς (talk) 21:04, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Formatting of Queensland Heritage Register articles

[edit]

Hi, Sildilmek! Thanks for trying to improve the article Coochin Coochin Homestead but the format for the heritage listing section was already in the agreed format for all articles relating to the Queensland Heritage Register. Before I commenced writing these articles a couple of years ago, I sought consensus at the Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board on a number of issues of article structure and format. So I reverted the article back to that agreed format.

As a new user, can I suggest you focus on adding/updatings information within articles? This is where the need is greatest. Also, getting familiar with formats of articles takes time and experience. If you are curious about formats, take a look at other similar articles and you will often see a pattern emerge. One way to look at similar articles is to click on the categories that are displayed at the bottom of each article. For example, the Coochin Coochin Homestead article is in the category Category:Homesteads in Queensland. If you click on that, you will be shown 72 other articles about Homesteads in Queensland, many of which will be following a similar format to Coochin Coochin Homestead, e.g. Ballandean Homestead, Bankfoot House, Barambah Homestead.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. Kerry (talk) 06:17, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
