Wikipedia is not a web host for holding personal web pages unrelated to work on building the encyclopaedia. You are, of course, very welcome to start making contributions to the encyclopaedia, in line with Wikipedia policies and guidelines, if you are interested in doing so, but if you wish to have a personal web page, then there are many web sites which provide that sort of service, but Wikipedia is not one of them.JBW (talk) 14:25, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove information from articles. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed on the sole grounds of perceived offensiveness. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. If the content in question involves images, you also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you. Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Dera Sach Khand, and I noticed that your username, "SikhDeraSachkhandBallan", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. As you must have known would happen, this account has been blocked indefinitely from editing, because it has been used to evade blocks on one other accounts. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock. To do so, first read the guide to appealing blocks, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} to the bottom of the talk page of your original account. Also, the articles on which you have been conducting your disruptive editing will be protected for a short time. It will be perfectly possible to protect them for much longer, or even indefinitely, and to restrict editing of them to administrators. However, I hope you won't choose to make that necessary, as doing so would cause inconvenience for legitimate editors, as well as stopping your abusive attempts to make articles promote your personal point of view.
