Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 10:59, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
I started a thread here: Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Mug_shots. Would you mind giving input? Thankyou. The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 03:49, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
NowCommons: Image:Jim moore.jpg
Image:Jim moore.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:Image:James Moore (biographer).jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[Image:James Moore (biographer).jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:55, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Eeps
I'm so sorry, there were quite a few of them, and obviously, I screwed those two up. My apologies and thanks for catching that. Wildhartlivie (talk) 17:20, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Request to move article Cone Cow incomplete
You recently filed a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves to move the page Cone Cow to a different title - however your proposal is either incomplete or has been contested as being controversial. As a result, it has been moved to the incomplete and contested proposals section. Requests that remain incomplete after five days will be removed.
Please make sure you have completed all three of the following:
- Added {{move|NewName}} at the top of the talk page of the page you want moved, replacing "NewName" with the new name for the article. This creates the required template for you there.
- Added a place for discussion at the bottom of the talk page of the page you want to be moved. This can easily be accomplished by adding {{subst:RMtalk|NewName|reason for move}} to the bottom of the page, which will automatically create a discussion section there.
- Added {{subst:RMlink|PageName|NewName|reason for move}} to the top of today's section here.
If you need any further guidance, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Requested moves or contact me on my talk page. - JPG-GR (talk) 17:02, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

"The Homosexuals"
Thanks for cleaning up that section. I knew it was fugly but hadn't gotten around to fixing it. Otto4711 (talk) 20:31, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
Doll
The reference came from: Ceci, Stephen J.; Maggie Bruck (1995). Jeopardy in the Courtroom: A Scientific Analysis of Children’s Testimony. ISBN 1557986320. Which wasn't added by me, but by one of the other authors. I'll see what was mentioned in the New York Times archive, since this was the first trial to use the dolls. I wish the Google Book Search agreement was in place so that we can all pay a few dollars to read any book online. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 21:25, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Dont forget to use the new citation templates: <ref>{{cite news |first= |last= |authorlink= |coauthors= |title= |url= |quote= |work=[[New York Times]] |date= |accessdate=2008-11-26 }}</ref>
I switched a few to the new format, let me know if they look ok. Excellent article, now it just needs a few images. Just like needing a doll to explain anatomy, you really need an image to explain just how correct and anatomically correct doll is. Cheers. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 21:46, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Everything that was on the original article for Datalounge was 100% correct
Are you a member of the site? How you have an article that doesn't mention the lingo that is and has been used for nearly a decade now, is almost criminal. The article literally has no worth without the original information provided. That information gave the essential overview of what the site is all about, and explained it fully. We cannot source "peg". Everyone knows who "peg" is and what it is in reference to. Datalounge does not have an About Us section. There is a lot that cannot be sourced, but is necessary for the article. I hope you understand what I'm saying, and we can find some resolution to this. The article is just horrible now, and very sad. 19:29, 21 December 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.124.161.238 (talk)
- I replied to this over on your talk page at User talk:76.124.161.238, but it would probably be most constructive to continue over at Talk:DataLounge Siawase (talk) 19:34, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the welcome!
Hi Siawase, Thanks for the welcome, and for clarifying about minor edits! Apologies for any poor etiquette while I am learning the system. Best wishes, Comical Comical Smallman (talk) 18:08, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Mug Shots
I'll keep it in mind. If I get input from other editors and attempt to change policy, I'll address it there too. The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 04:15, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Darn
Re: Sidneyandrewsmancini. Just about to sit down, as I had finally had enough time without interruption to go through all the various socks and finally type up a proper sock report, and you beat me to it. :) I had worked out a couple of the Sidneyandrewsmancini socks, although I had definitely missed one. Oh, at least I got saved a lot of typing. Good catch. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 19:07, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- (reply)No worries. I should have moved to the Sock boards earlier. I had prodded and afd'ed a couple of Sidneyandrewsmancini articles, and I had spotted that one of them, or more accurately, one with a similar title, had been speedied previously and had been created by Valerie burns. And similar logic on who edited contributions by Valerie burns brought me to Special:Contributions/Danielguillanissexiness. I really should have moved when an article by the Daniel account I prodded was edited by Sidneyandrewsmancini, but as I had prodded, afd'ed and warned the Sidney account rather a lot, I wanted to make sure the sock report was detailed enough not to look like I was just picking on a user. Anyhoo, these things normally work themselves out, and I think I could probably spot a new sock account; there are a few stylistic similarities that keep popping up. :) But I completeely missed Gillybean2594. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 20:01, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- (reply) I was only vaguely aware of Brexx before this; I still think that the Valerie burns wasn't the first in the series, but as for Brexx, I don't really know enough about the case and I am just reading up on it now. OK, Linday Lohan seems to be a magnet for Sidneyandrewsmancini, and there are a couple of other similarities such as the future film article creations, but Sidneyandrewsmancini seems to be interested in soap-operas of the UK like Eastenders as well. The problem with his (or her) edits was that each one had to be checked as he seems to mix fact into the fantasy. Some of the articles, even some of the deleted articles he created, might have been notable, or, at the very least, weren't complete hoaxes while other articles created were nearly blatant hoaxes. In the same way, some of the edits he made only needed a source, which in some cases I easily found, but then there were other edits that were complete fantasy. There are definitely some people that figure prominently in his (or her) thinking. Melissa Joan Hart seems to be one. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 00:25, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Brexx is back ...
... as FELANGI (talk · contribs). His socks are often all caps. He's back on Lindsay Lohan. Ward3001 (talk) 22:59, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
