Hi, I am Jinyu Lu peer reviewing your lead section. The topic is very interesting, I think you can put more information about introducing the language for people who are not familiar with it, for example the culture of Pontus which was strongly influenced by different regions such as Trebizond, Samsunda, Kerasounda and Sinopi upper level education and art flourished. Moreover, Pontic language was from Ionic Greek via Koine and Byzantine Greek with many archaisms and contains loanwords from Turkish and to a lesser extent, Persian and various Caucasian languages. I believe more introduction information can make people understand the language better and willing to continue reading. Also sub paragraph is can make the page become clearer.

Also, you seem to have a lot of sources listed, but do not seem to be using them to their full potential. Your article lacks body, but I feel this is easily fixable given you have ample sources to pull information from. Maybe talk more about the history of the language and how it was brought to Greece due to the 1923 population exchange. You could even include information about the population exchange: what it was and how it truly effected the speakers of Pontic Greek.
