Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:33, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to WikiProject Anglicanism

[edit]

Hello, TrulyShruti, and welcome to Wikiproject Anglicanism! Thank you for your generous offer to help contribute. I'm sure your input will be much appreciated. I hope you enjoy contributing here and being an Anglican Project Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to discuss anything on the project talk page, or to leave a message on my own talk page. Please remember to sign all your comments, and be bold with your edits. Again, welcome, and happy editing! ~ Pbritti (talk) 16:42, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

1928 prayer book

[edit]

The article for the US 1928 prayer book is in the preliminary creation stages. While the naming nomenclature for the article once it is published has been discussed to some extent, you are welcome to provide your input. In the interim, please refrain from creating an unsourced stub for the book. You are welcome to provide help in creating the page or to create your own draft on the subject, to be published when it meets the standards established at WP:GNG and WP:VERIFIABILITY. Thank you. ~ Pbritti (talk) 20:21, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm working on creating the U.S. 1928 prayer book article right now, with content and sources. The moving and renaming of the U.K. 1928 prayer book article was discussed on the article's talk page, having been first proposed by another user years ago. --TrulyShruti talksign 20:39, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have draftified your work to Draft:Book of Common Prayer (1928, U.S.). I encourage you improve the article there before pushing it to the mainspace under a name that reflects the need to disambiguate—here, WP:COMMONNAME means both the English and American prayer books are simply known as the "1928 Book of Common Prayer". ~ Pbritti (talk) 01:59, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

March 2023

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Book of Common Prayer (1928), without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Pbritti (talk) 20:34, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi TrulyShruti! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Book of Common Prayer (1928) that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Filmfare Awards, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bengali cinema. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:12, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to join the Fifteen Year Society

[edit]

Dear TrulyShruti,

I'd like to extend a cordial invitation to you to join the Fifteen Year Society, an informal group for editors who've been participating in the Wikipedia project for fifteen years or more. Additionally, if I may speak on behalf of the WikiProject Buddhism community, congratulations on this milestone. It is heartwarming to see you as an active user after all these years. Take good care, my friend!

Ways to improve Lennis Echterling

[edit]

Hello, TrulyShruti,

Thank you for creating Lennis Echterling.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

There is evidence that they've taught at James Madison in the past (and supervised students), but the post alone doesn't seem sufficient to meet WP:NPROF. The prizes are local/regional and other notability criteria don't seem to have been met. A Scopus H-factor of 5 suggest that their research output has had relatively little impact.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Notice

The article TilEm has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG for not including any references to significant coverage in reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Requesting some article expansion help
