  • Wikipedia is not a web host for holding personal web pages unrelated to work on building the encyclopaedia. You are, of course, welcome to make contributions to the encyclopaedia, in line with Wikipedia policies and guidelines, but if your purpose is to write a personal web page, then you would be better advised to use one of the many web sites which do provide that sort of service, such as a social network site or a web hosting service.
  • Promotional material is not permitted by Wikipedia policy. You may believe that you have "genuine talent and a natural flair" and so on and so on, but Wikipedia is not the place to tell the world what a high opinion you have of yourself. Nor is it the place to seek support from sponsors. There are other web sites where that kind of thing is acceptable, but not Wikipedia.
