re Railway signal
[edit]I have reverted your recent change, as it appears you have misunderstood what happens. A dark signal has to be interpreted as displaying the most restrictive indication it can display, which is almost always either "Stop" or "Stop and Proceed". What the circuitry does is detect the burnt-out bulb and display some indication which is allowable but better than stopping. Mangoe (talk) 13:33, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Australian tramcar manufacturers
[edit]Hi thanks for your work on the new section Australian tramcar manufacturers. :)
Since the section is so long i believe the section should be split into a new article.
Another improvement could be be made to the table of content as it is currently too long to conform with the Wikipedia standard. L blue l (talk) 00:25, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
Trams in Sydney
[edit]It means that it's a list of junk that has no place in the text of an encyclopedia. Cheers. MrHarper (talk) 10:05, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. On This Day
[edit]Is there any way to customise the list of events that occurred on the current calendar day in earlier years? it seems to mainly consist of wars and battles. There must be other events in science or other areas of history. Shrdlu junction (talk) 09:05, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
