Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Shoe1999, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Eric Cantor have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Democratic primary results

[edit]

Please do not artificially inflate the numbers in Democratic primary results, as you have done here on Arizona gubernatorial election, 2014 and here on Florida gubernatorial election, 2014. The numbers posted are the official numbers per Secretary of State websites and changing them or any others could be considered vandalism which may result in you being blocked. Thanks, Tiller54 (talk) 14:23, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tiller54 I find your comments very inappropriate. I can't understand why I am being threatened of being blocked, because of one mistake.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Shoe1999 (talkcontribs)
@Shoe1999: Tiller54 gave you a simple warning about falsifying information, which is considered vandalism. Repeated instances of vandalism can result in a block. This warning is just to let you know, so it doesn't happen again. If that warning is too harsh for you, you shouldn't be on the internet. Chris Troutman (talk) 01:56, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Troutman, if your an official Wikipedia editor, I would think you would know how to treat people, but I guess not. You should be ashamed of yourself, you were not even involved with this. This isn't your business, and yet you responded to it anyway. Who do you think you are, responding to others business. My comment was directed to tiller54, (not you). Tiller54 has the right to comment on my comment if he/she wishes too, but the fact that you weren't involved in this, but responded to it anyway, shows a lot about your character. The fact that you said, if words are to harsh for you then get off the internet. I have to say I have never been treated like this on Wikipiedea. I hope you will start to act a little more mature, Chris Troutman. -shoe1999

I'm a talk page stalker, hence my unsolicited reply. I've been watching your talk page since I welcomed you. But, you have a right not be contacted and I'll leave you alone. Chris Troutman (talk) 03:41, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

To Chris Troutman: I never said not to contact me, but you came off as rude and patronizing. If you would like to give me good feedback, you can, and I will read your advice. However, if you continue to be rude then I will not pay any attention to you, so the choice is yours.-shoe1999

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 04:20, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
