Enclave/Exclave

Hello there. I had all but forgotten about that particular merging project and its discussion. I think the major challenge right now would be structuring the article(s) (whether kept as separate ormerged into one) by devoting different sections to different types of enclave, and also clearly explaining how exclave is not truly "a mirror term" as it were (i.e. not necessarily the antonym of enclave).

As for your user page statement, I agree that this whole project must be taken for what it is, and that is more of a dynamic internet community or blog/commentary than an actual compilation of knowledge and relevant points of view. =J //Big Adamsky 10:55, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

How many condominiums are there in the world?

Greetings.

I haven't any certainty about how many condomiums (in the sense of political condominiums of course, not the American term for a block of flats) there are in the world, so to that extent you're right to edit the page back to just state that Pheasant Island is simply a condominium, rather than a stab at its uniqueness or otherwise.

But I wonder how many there actually are? It seems the Moselle on the Luxembourg and Germany frontier is another one as you say elsewhere and support with the links to the boundary expedition pages, certainly according to the discussion in BoundaryPoint which you cite elsewhere: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BoundaryPoint/message/3312. There's the possibility then that any fluvial islands in the river there are condominiums like Isla de los faisanos, again, as the expeditions' pages suggest.

Intriguing.

I agree with your user page comment on the need for draft and edited versions: you may have heard that there's an initiative to 'fork' Wikipedia in this way, to first duplicate everything then allow one version to continue in the same way as now, while recruiting 'experts' for the second. A big problem here will be how to decide who is a qualified 'expert'.

List of National Capitals

Your edit summary means what exactly?Johnbod 01:04, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

When an entry on a list that is sort alphabetical is changed without changing its location, it is obvious to see it is vandalism (done on purpose or by misunderstanding). Similar vandalism is shown on lists where an entry is removed, but the count on the top of the page is not changed.(Shocktm | Talk | contribs.) 16:53, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Dependent territory

You are introducing a few errors to the article. For example, crown dependencies are not overseas territories. You should not have merged the two categories. - Privacy 16:12, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

I fixed that with a one line change. You are creating much more problems by trying to reinsert data that has been removed for a reason that has been discussed before. All that is happening is an editwar. (Shocktm | Talk | contribs.) 16:53, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
