The article Amrut Ghayal has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. andy (talk) 13:42, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
about speedy deletion of article Amrut Ghayal
[edit]Hello Andy,
Amrut Ghayal (Amrutlal Bhatt) is not a biography of a living person. He died on 25th December, 2002. Please review a couple of links in 'External links' section, of them one is in Gujarati and reads: " અવસાન
25 – ડીસેમ્બર – 2002, રાજકોટ
" And another one, kindly scroll down to bottom:
"Ghayal is gone now. I have no idea if the goddess of letters has paid heed to his commendation. I do not think that she has but hope one day she will. What a daydream!"
This is to cite official, available references, formally. Although it's well known he passed away on that date. So, please remove the BLP notification from the article asap and oblige! :) Have great time ahead and thank you once again.

Artcile ragarding Nanabhai Bhatt (Lokbharti)
[edit]Please see that there already exists an article for Nanabhai Bhatt(Click on the blue link ).Can you please tell me whether this person is the same as the one you are writing or is he a diff person? The padmasri awards link the this person Nanabhai Bhatt as the awardee. But I think it is a mistake since the latter is a person related to films and not social work.Care to shed light on this.I was actually thinking of tagging it for criteria for speedy deletion as a WP:A10 but would rather wait for your answer.Vivekananda De--tAlK 11:03, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
Re: Article regarding Nanabhai Bhatt (Lokbharti)
[edit]Hi Vivek7de, if you visit and study both the articles under an eventual common name 'Nanabhai Bhatt', you would note the difference, in fact it's a drastic one. You may be talking about Nanabhai Bhatt denoted to Films and Indian Cinema, who is a different person altogether and the one, created by me Nanabhai Bhatt (Lokbharti) is a different person and personality altogether. Also, may you please check and visit the references given in Nanabhai Bhatt (Lokbharti) article. It's just eventual and co-incidental the name is same but the both of them are different persons. :) I had checked Nanabhai Bhatt article already before creating Nanabhai Bhatt (Lokbharti). :) Thank you for updating though and have a great time ahead! Kind regards.
- One more thing that please read WP:GNG and WP:IRS.The references that you have given are not reliable. Please provide Newspaper articles or books published regarding this person.P.S:-When you answer somebody's queries you dont have to answer on both your and the questioner's talk page.Write " * " and answer on your own talk page followed by four "~" (both without quotations). :) .Happy EditingVivekananda De--tAlK 11:23, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
- Dear Vivek,
- )
All these small things make difference, and am happily learning. Although have to take equal time for some Wiki tutorials and thank you mate for WP links. Well, now critical it is for the references are none other than the websites of subjected institutions themselves, whose founder is the person Nanabhai Bhatt (Lokbharti) himself! I would anticipate guidance as which should be the better reference for this instant, subjected article. These organizations are founded and established by this great figure, let alone many other institutions across the region and in India are inspired by the concept/person. :) However, let me try my best to add few more references as to make more legible as considered and suggested by you/Wiki. Thank you once again and happy time ahead! Shivnag (talk) 11:44, 22 November 2011 (UTC)Shivnag
- Hi Vivek,
Thank you for extending your help. We could see, how it could be edited and improved. And this is your appreciable help. At the same time, the recipients-list of [[1]] carries wrong reference therefore. It should be Nanabhai Bhatt (Lokbharti), the actual-correct recipient of Padma Shri in 1960. The state being Maharashtra should to be verifiable, but the awardee was Nanabhai Bhatt (Lokbharti) only. However, I am not sure if I could edit the wrong entry in [[2]] or not. Many thanks again and kind regards. Shivnag (talk) 12:17, 22 November 2011 (UTC)Shivnag
- Use " * " without the double quotes for identation / See help-->formatting under the edit link.I have added some references for the article (one book citation and one url from Yale). Please see them and if you have any queries feel free to ask me(here only).Although the institutions may be founded by the person himself , but editors in wiki take serious offence at citing links to the persons own company/institution/establishment.They can be given as "External Links".P.S:also look for Spellings. :-) Vivekananda De--tAlK 12:20, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
- :-) A better day! This has been a good/desired tutorial indeed. Am checking the spellings and other things as well. And hope to be a good student... In a due time, if not very soon. :-) Thank you once again. Shivnag (talk) 12:36, 22 November 2011 (UTC)Shivnag
- and the final thing keep on adding " * " (without the double quotes) followed by " : " for every consecutive comment. Like " * " for 1st comment ," :* " for 2nd comment.Thank you for your contributionsVivekananda De--tAlK 12:41, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Brahmbhatt
[edit] Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did on Brahmbhatt. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
Brahmbhatt is a disambiguation page, not an article, and even if it was an article, your additions were totally unsourced - as an experienced editor, you should know better - Arjayay (talk) 21:53, 24 January 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Reply to Arjayay:
Sorry to hear that. But what is perceived at your end is compromised and incomplete information. The previous edited page is a rude copy or information on identity 'Brahmbhatt' which can not end up having a handful of individuals. It's a historic or mythological item/part and should you please update yourself. The attempt, at volunteering is to update and improve the page's credentials as more correct and proper information prevail on public platforms such as reputed Wikipedia which is somehow open to anyone and everyone. Would appreciate and hope we could connect back with updated information or knowledge on 'Brahmbhatt'. However, if still, there's mistake from my end, sincere apologies. Let alone the page or the edits which you tag as "unsourced" are under continuous update/edit from my end and they will have all proper sources and references once it is upto a worthy mark. Hope you would get it. Also, please it is out of a noble wish and after noticing erratic and frivolously attempted/edited this page, i felt to lend my hand, even sitting overnight.
Would appreciate you proper reply.
Thanks and regards. Shivnag
- I have little to add to what I have already said.
The existing article is about an Indian surname, not a caste, which may merit a separate article, but please be aware of the "Discretionary sanctions on caste articles and more" explained here. Many sources about castes are not reliable, being either self-promotional, or historically inaccurate - especially Raj sources, which are almost always disallowed. Please see WP:HISTRS and Sitush's guide to caste sources, which is not Sitush's personal opinions, but is a compilation of Wikipedia consensus on them, with links to the relevant discussions, if you need more information.
- When editing, you should add the relevant references as you add material, they are not an add-on afterthought. You made 20 edits and added 6432 bytes, nearly 1000 words, without any references whatsoever. It is very easy to claim you intend to go back, and add references, but this almost never happens; moreover, it is far easier, and far more accurate, to add sources as you go along, rather than try and remember which fact came from which source retrospectively.
As I said, as an experienced editor, you should know better - but you also know how to recover deleted text, so can easily reclaim it, if you wish to create an article about the caste with references.
Best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 11:36, 25 January 2020 (UTC)

[edit]The article Gohil Koli has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
There is no clan as Gohil Koli, it is just one of many surnames ( gotra ) of Koli people . Gohil surname is common in Rajputs Gohil dynasty, Koli and many other communities especially of Gujarat /Kutch. None of the sources linked say Gohil Koli is separate from clan.
