I just wanted to let you know that you can create articles in your user space without spoiling your main userpage. All you need to do is type [[User:Shinyred.laura/Addiction Worldwide]] which will create a red link "User:Shinyred.laura/Addiction Worldwide" to a non-existent page that you can create by adding content an clicking the save button. --Mrmatiko (talk) 16:59, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Addiction Worldwide article

[edit]

I saw your question about the article you are working on so I took a look. I wouldn't suggest using LinkedIn as a source if it's a site with user generated content. (If you check out WP:RELY you'll see that there's a section that discusses user generated and self-published sources.) Cloveapple (talk) 17:42, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I had debated using it for that reason, but was struggling to find how many staff the company has else where. I will take a look for an alternative source and get it sorted. Thanks for the advice! Shinyred.laura (talk) 15:04, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There are articles about companies that never mention the number of employees. See for example Scene7 or Delrina. Both of them were featured on the main page of Wikipedia as the best Wikipedia has to offer. (You can tell they are featured articles by the star in the top right corner.) If the absolute best of the best articles on Wikipedia that have run a review gauntlet and been polished like crazy don't mention the number of employees, it's probably ok to skip it.
Just put the things you have solid sources for. Even if that means your article is only a paragraph, it will be ok as long as the references are rock solid and as long as you meet the requirements of WP:ORG. Cloveapple (talk) 17:31, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
