Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Shimansky
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Shimansky, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. KingAndGod 12:41, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:44, 10 April 2018 (UTC)

Request reason:
This draft was for testing purposes, and as there are many other companies with Wikipedia pages, such as Browns Jewellers, Cartier and Paiget, it would seem only fair to allow Shimansky the opportunity to create a page, while adhering to all abovementioned guidelines, and neutralize our copy in order to get our page live and provide users with valuable information on how the brand evolved and came about.
Decline reason:
The draft was promotional in nature, which is not permitted, see WP:PROMO. Please understand that not every company merits an article here, even within the same field, see WP:OSE. Wikipedia is only interested in what independent reliable sources state about a subject, and has little to no interest in what a subject wishes to say about itself. You will also need to review the conflict of interest and paid editing policies. As you will not be allowed to directly edit about your company, you will need to tell us what you do intend to do on Wikipedia. You will also need to request a new username as described in your block notice. As such, I am declining this request. 331dot (talk) 08:56, 11 April 2018 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
