Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia! Your note to me was very nice, but also very unnecessary for two reasons, one which it would be impossible for you to have known. First, since you/Wikipedia are using the image under fair use because it's a game screenshot, it doesn't really matter to give attribution to others that upload the images. It's good to give the source as you did, but to give attribution for uploading works that I/someone had really little to do with was very nice but very not needed. Second, which would have been impossible for you to know, was that I wasn't really the uploader of that image. Yes, my name is probably listed as the sole uploader of the image, but for awhile I would reduce fair use images such as this one (and the one you give me credit for) to bring us more in compliance with the fair use criteria to "use as little as possible", aka "fair use reduce". Once I would upload the image back in smaller scale, the older image would be deleted and it appears as if I were the sole uploader. This sucks for me and others because I really don't care about these images other than having reduced them so I get notifications galore about them and rarely take action, because I don't care, while the true uploader, someone who would care, doesn't get notified and would likely respond. This is probably way more than you wanted to know, but that's the full scoop. But again, welcome, I think your edits to the image were great and of good value to Wikipedia and the article. Lastly, to link to an image, such as on a talk page to make it easier for someone to get to an image, you just put a colon in front of the "Image:" like this: [[:Image:LaraCroftTombRaiderEvoWAnniv.jpg]] which will look like this: Image:LaraCroftTombRaiderEvoWAnniv.jpg. Again, thanks for the nice note, but it's not needed in this case. MECUtalk 13:04, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there. I also noticed that. I don't really mind about it much, but I took the liberty of correcting it myself, hope you don't mind! Thanks for enriching the image even more! Pedrovsk 03:55, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:LaraCroftTombRaiderEvoWAnniv.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:LaraCroftTombRaiderEvoWAnniv.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
