Uploading images is somewhat tricky for reasons of copyright. For living people, Wikipedia accepts only freely licensed images that have been released under a free license that allows everybody to re-use and modify the image. If you know of an image published under such a license, please provide a link at WP:FFU and provide evidence that the image is indeed freely licensed. As an alternative you can send the image, and the proof of licensing, to perrmissions-commons
