I will be adding detailed references and some photographs of the battlefield.

Maps
[edit]Hal:
I am trying to upgrade the Battle of Piedmont page. I would like to put a nice map on there similar to the New Market map. Scott Mingus said that you might be able to assist.
We met a couple of years ago when I was a guide on the Second Manassas Tour for the Middleburg Mosby seminar.

- Hi. Is this Scott Patchan? I'm surprised you would remember me. Coincidentally, although I have done over 100 maps for Wikipedia, that one for New Market was not from me. (You can see my maps at http://www.posix.com/CWmaps/) I would be willing to do a map for you if you can provide me source material. About the only thing I know about that battle is in John Salmon's Virginia Civil War battlefield guide. If you would like to discuss further, why don't you send me an e-mail--see the links on the left margin of that maps page or at the top of User:Hlj. Hal Jespersen (talk) 22:52, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
