Hi, I noticed your revert on Clint Catalyst and wanted to let you know that User:Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (who has become a problem to constructive editors on several pages, including that one) is accusing you of sockpuppetry (as well as undoing your work). Though I am curious why you were aware of NeutralHomer's approval (were you one of the previous editors that had their real name exposed?), your edit seemed to be in good faith, unlike the revert which followed. Policy is, after all, to request a sock check rather than delete edits by suspected socks.Granny Bebeb (talk) 03:35, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads'-up. Regarding NeutralHomer's approval: I may not know much about this site's esoteric policies and abbreviations, but clicking from the discussion page of one editor to another? That much I can handle... Unless, that is, the editor suddenly "disappears" from the site altogether (as I just noted seems to be the case with NHomer).
How many constructive, helpful and kind editors does this make that have abandoned the site because of one person? One person!
Is Hullaballoo an employee of Wikipedia or something? The guy's clearly intelligent, not to mention versed in the AB:BREviations of it all to the point of it being a bit...creepy. Honestly, when the accusation of me being a "sock" was posted, I have to admit that I felt somewhat deflated. I'm here because I'd like to add information to subjects that are of interest to me, not argue with strangers through a computer. I just can't wrap my head around how this guy gets by with the little bit of behavior I know of-- let alone actions that I don't.
Should I expect him to scrutinize each and every attempt I make on this site? (I ask because yes, I've read numerous horror stories that have been posted about "Wiki-hounding," etc.) Unless I'm mistaken, I don't know of a single article the guy has-- never mind. Obviously I've already started out on the wrong foot here. All I can do is hope I'm able to accomplish a positive thing or two for the spoken word community. He's not the first person I've known of to discredit any author that isn't among the so-called "Canon of 'The Greats.'" I suppose I'm stating this as a reminder to myself...You've been a Wiki editor quite a while (from what I can tell), so it's not as if I'm providing some great revelation. Still, if this "guy" isn't someone who works for the corporation itself, how can he get by with statements such as that I'm an "obvious sockpuppet" being accepted as truth? Then there's the matter of him going against an admin's approval of information appearing on a page. (Ricky's an admin, is he not?) I just don't get it... At all. :(

== Ha! Why Am I Not Surprised? ==
After one comment, I've now been blocked from editing because I'm on a public computer?
How nice that I can still "read articles," though... I guess in order to edit, I should go to the alleged library where Hullaballoo "volunteers" and use one of the public computers there?
Unbelieveable.
I am signed into my account...not attempting to edit anonymously.
Fishy, fishy, fishy. How "public" are the computers at the Wiki offices, Hullaballoo?
I hereby retract this statement...
I still have a lot to learn about this site, and realize now my comment was made based on an unfounded bias.
It was immature of me, and I apologize.

Periods
[edit]I think you learned as I did, from the Chicago Manual of Style, to put periods inside of quotations marks (as in this edit), but FYI the WP Manual of Style has it different. Regards, howcheng {chat} 06:54, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
