Construction communication

[edit]

Hello, Thank you for your article about Construction Communication. Where I could, I completed the citations for you. There are several, though, where there wasn't enough information for me to complete the citations:

  • Cheng et al., 2001
  • Higgin and Jessop 1965]
  • [Thomas et al 1998]
  • [Franks 1998]
  • [Somogyi 1999]
  • [Lenard and Eckersley 1997]
  • [Sörensen, in Atkinet al 2003]
  • [Brown 2001]
  • [Usmani and Winch 1993]
  • [Nutt 1988]
  • [Barrett 1995]
  • [Salisbury 1998]

Do you have the information to complete these citations? Or an alternate source?

I also removed the blog reference as blogs are not reliable published sources.--CaroleHenson (talk) 13:21, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Direct quotations

[edit]

There is at least one direct quotation from a source in the Construction Communication article. For the moment I called out the quotation and source. There are copyright issues with taking direct quotes, please see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing.--CaroleHenson (talk) 13:29, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good job! The article looks much better - and you did a great job linking to the article from other articles! I'm assuming that there are no other direct quotes in the article, if not they'll need to be paraphrased.
Again, excellent work!--CaroleHenson (talk) 19:37, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Software Associates, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.softwareassociates.in/about-software-associates/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) December 2011

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Software Associates, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Software Associates, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. AllyD (talk) 13:21, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Software Associates

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from Software Associates. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
  2. This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willingly to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 13:40, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
