Information icon Hello, I'm HaeB. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to China Global Television Network seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. HaeB (talk) 14:57, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Citations that do not support what they are cited for

[edit]

Hi Sharontse121,

when citing sources, please make sure they actually support the statement that you are citing them for. That was not the case with several of your citations in 1450 Internet army (cf. deletion discussion). It's important that Wikipedia readers and fellow editors can rely on the relation between text and source. Edits that mislead them about this, whether by sloppiness or deliberately, are highly problematic. Regards, HaeB (talk) 15:51, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Previous editions of the short track world cup is not in your new format ehh. Is there a consensus by other wiki editors about the new change? I reckon seeing it? Sharontse121 (talk) 20:35, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's mainly about making references, you need to know how to do it. Gro456 (talk) 20:51, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
but previous editions of the world cup did not do such formatting walao Sharontse121 (talk) 20:56, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
you just needa see the previous editions and follow their format, their referencing is neat enough Sharontse121 (talk) 20:56, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Alexeyevitch(talk) 18:53, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Dwayne Li

[edit]

Hello Sharontse121, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Dwayne Li, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dwayne Li.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|North8000}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hi, i have been working on several wiki pages about chinese figure skating championships. Unfortunately the CFSA has no official websites or workable pages where I could directly use from, I have rather used the weibo social media account of CFSA to kinda support the information. As the quotation rules of wikipedia, as i know, is quite strict, I am kinda worried if these articles would be seen as not convincing enough. Anyways, thank you for your examination, and I hope the page could be kept as it is an important event in the 2023/24 season. Thanks a lot. Sharontse121 (talk) 16:36, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
