Waiting for Mr Banhappy here to be forthcoming about why he banned me. No response via email, so this is the next best thing.

Having the common decency to respond to my email would have saved all this trouble. Also, a sane, rational and non-fascist approach to IP blocking would be fantastic. Here I was trying to fix a few things on a couple of pages, and I get

can't edit anonymously, IP banned (a shared IP, collective punishment anyone?)
can't get a reminder sent for my password (because IP is blocked/banned)
create new username, it is immediately banned for being inflammatory
can't make a new new username since the brain donors in charge of these things have a 6 new accounts per ip block per some arbitrary time period limitation
no reply to my initiating discussion on the matter via email

what am I supposed to do other than this?
