RE:Hyperpop
Hello, the reason bubblegum bass isn't mentioned is highlighted at Talk:Hyperpop#Bubblegum Bass & Origins, where it's stated the 'Origins' section is significantly lacking, my edits were in response to this and fully sourced. Thank you 2A02:C7F:38FC:A300:84C6:5D9D:2A19:F31D (talk) 21:35, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
- If that's the case, then I think that it would be better to develop the Origins section before adding the infobox again (with reliable sources of course). Without detail in the prose, the infobox will probably just confuse readers. Alduin2000 (talk) 22:14, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

The article AllttA has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Lack of independent, reliable sources on the subject. I created this article when I knew less about how Wikipedia works.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 27 February 2022 (UTC)

Devonian Wombat (talk) 22:39, 11 March 2022 (UTC)- Congrats Alduin! I've been watching the draft evolve over time and I'm glad Vowsh has gotten recognition on enwiki. I'll be watching very closely for vandalism. The last time Voosh got a page, it was vandalized almost immediately. (I was the person who originally moved it out of draftspace last year.) Speedy deletion nomination of Hyram Yarbro
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hyram Yarbro, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CUPIDICAE💕 20:55, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
Airrack moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Airrack, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Paid Editing
Hello Alduin2000. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Hyram Yarbro, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Alduin2000. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Alduin2000|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. TrangaBellam (talk) 22:09, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
- TrangaBellam, may I ask what gave you that impression? I am a member of WikiProject YouTube creating a page on a YouTuber, not exactly very surprising. Generally paid editing comes from new accounts, sockpuppets, or accounts that have a history of such editing that has somehow gone under the radar. However, I have been editing for years on a range of topics and have never been accussed of paid editing or even of being biased (as far as I can remember anyway). Clarification would be helpful here, thanks. Alduin2000 (talk) 22:16, 19 April 2022 (UTC) Just adding this here for explicitness: I have not been compensated for any edit. Alduin2000 (talk) 22:21, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
- You have been introducing such spam for years and nobody had raised any objections? TrangaBellam (talk) 22:44, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
- No. Nobody has ever accused me of paid editing. And I object to your assertion that I have been introducing spam to the encyclopedia for years. I am contributing to the encyclopedia just like you. I would appreciate it if you retract that assertion, TrangaBellam. Thank you. Alduin2000 (talk) 22:47, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
- You didn't answer the question. What makes you believe Alduin has been paid to edit, or otherwise have a COI? SWinxy (talk) 15:27, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks, SWinxy, your comment here is appreciated. TrangaBellam, I feel that maybe it would be productive if this conversation is taken to the article's talk page and re-centered around the content of the article rather than my conduct. Perhaps there are legitimate concerns about my writing behaviour (I'm clearly biased on whether or not that's the case), but this can be handled at the appropriate forums. Feel free to disregard my comment about retracting anything, you were just asking a question (even if it wasn't in the most civil or productive manner). However, I (like SWinxy) would still be interested in hearing why you think I'm engaging in UPE. Does it seem likely that UPE would result in an article about a TikTok skincare influencer that states "Doctors have argued that consumers should not take skincare advice from influencers on TikTok"? To me this just seems absurd; if I were a UPE account, I very much doubt I would be paid for that. Anyway, I'll leave a comment on the article talk page about disputed content in a moment. Thanks. Alduin2000 (talk) 16:06, 20 April 2022 (UTC)

- @Bruxton: absolutely, Melia's made some super important contributions that have been discussed quite a lot, especially in the philosophy of mathematics. I decided to just add enough sources to show notability for now though and hopefully other editors will come across the page and add more info. Alduin2000 (talk) 17:29, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
- These things tend to remain permastubs, so I encourage you to expand the article. Ten years from now it may still be a stub. Bruxton (talk) 17:31, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Bruxton: I may come back to it at some point but developing articles like this takes a considerable amount of research time, finding and reading appropriate papers, not to mention getting onto summarising them in the article. I have other priorities atm but I'll not rule out developing it more in the future. Alduin2000 (talk) 17:56, 31 August 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing some of the problems with the new material added to Heartstopper. I wondered if you could do some more, though, as you seem to know what you're doing. For example, it looks now like everyone from Season 1 is returning in Seaason 2, and although most are, not all of them are, at least not according to the sources. Another similar problem is the recurring characters section, which of course was for Season 1, and yet now it's unclear if they continue to be recurring characters in Season 2. I realize you don't have to do any of this, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway. Thanks.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:07, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Bbb23, do you have any sources in mind when you say not all characters are returning in season 2? Also, do you think opening a section on the article talk page would be useful for deciding if this should be included there? Possibly it should be removed from the cast and characters section and moved down to the casting subsection. I don't really have an opinion on that, I was just trying to tidy up the addition as is. Alduin2000 (talk) 15:47, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- The Netflix source ([1]), which is cited in the article, says: "All lead cast members will also be returning for Season 2, including Kit Connor, Joe Locke, Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Sebastian Croft, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood, Cormac Hyde-Corrin and Jenny Walser." It doesn't mention Chetna Pandya (Coach Singh) or Fisayo Akinade (Mr Ajayi). The Deadline source ([2]), which you added, says largely the same thing except they also say: "Stephen Fry and Olivia Colman also star", which is a bit ambiguous but appears to be saying that they are returning. You're probably right about opening up a discussion on the article Talk page, which is really the best place to discuss these issues. I started doing that before you tidied up things a bit, which caused me to stop because of much of what I was saying you fixed.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:58, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- Bbb23, I've moved a lot of content about season 2 (including new characters) to a new subsection under the Production section. Hopefully this will solve things for now at least. Alduin2000 (talk) 16:16, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks, but I strongly suspect your approach won't last. Maybe semi-protection will be enough to keep the edits sane. I confess to being a cynic in these things (been on Wikipedia too long).--Bbb23 (talk) 16:59, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah I think you're right that things will be re-added anyway. Hopefully semi-protection + taking things to talk if problems arise again so there is an explicit discussion/consensus to point to will settle things. Alduin2000 (talk) 17:14, 23 September 2022 (UTC)

On 16 October 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Working from Within: The Nature and Development of Quine's Naturalism, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the book Working from Within details how W. V. Quine only began to use the term "naturalism" years after he had already developed the key tenets of the philosophy? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Working from Within: The Nature and Development of Quine's Naturalism. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Working from Within: The Nature and Development of Quine's Naturalism), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
