Jasmine
[edit]Hi, I noticed you did a lot of editing to Jasmine (American singer) and The Next Me (Jasmine album). I would just like to inform you that while the artist's real name may be Jasmine Sagginario, her professional name is Jasmine, and she should be referred to as such in Wikipedia. And before you perform controversial edits, or if they get reverted, please use the talk page. Thank you. --Djc wi (talk) 04:50, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- Also, do not add blatantly unreferenced information. It WILL be removed. --Djc wi (talk) 05:20, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- Go to Jesus Freak Hideout. Go to Radio Disney's YouTube channel. Go to Radio Disney's website. Heck, even go to her own website. They all credit her as Jasmine. Therefore, she should be called Jasmine in Wikipedia. --Djc wi (talk) 20:01, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- Look at the websites I gave you. They all call her Jasmine. --Djc wi (talk) 22:52, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- Her album credits her as Jasmine. Radio Disney credits her as Jasmine. Amazon.com credits her as Jasmine. She is called and credited as Jasmine. Also please sign your posts with four tildes whenever you use a talk page. --Djc wi (talk) 23:43, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- Please don't scream at me. I didn't scream at you. Anyway, I understand the single says Sagginario, but the album says Jasmine. Radio Disney says Jasmine. Jesusfreakhideout.com says Jasmine, and again, she says Jasmine, so... it's Jasmine. --Djc wi (talk) 03:07, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- When push comes to shove, you have to go by the what the artist him/herself as. And if you look at her website and her Facebook page, it's Jasmine. She is Jasmine, not Jasmine Sagginario, Jasmine. --Djc wi (talk) 04:46, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Tiffany-giardina-hurry-up-and-save-me.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Tiffany-giardina-hurry-up-and-save-me.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 19:01, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Tiffany-giardina-hurry-up-and-save-me.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Tiffany-giardina-hurry-up-and-save-me.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:01, 16 April 2011 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 19:01, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --Eeekster (talk) 19:02, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not continue to upload files missing information on their copyright status, as you did with File:Jasmine-Sagginario-Knock-Knock.jpg. Note that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and that the copyright status of all media files uploaded to Wikipedia must be verifiable by others. If you are unsure of the correct copyright template, please refer to the list of image copyright tags. If you would like to experiment with uploading files, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Hi Shane. We're not allowed to copy-and-paste from other websites; it's considered a copyright violation. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 11:45, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
- Shane, I know you are trying to help with the article and thanks for that. However, you are copying and close paraphrasing content from moshimonsters.wikia.com – please don't do that. You're right, though, that much of the article contains unsourced opinions and original research and needs fixing. In the meantime, could you please revert your edit? You've made it appear that you've written the content, when it is actually mostly from moshimonsters.wikia.com. Thanks, Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 12:43, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Nomination of Boy Crazy (song) for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Boy Crazy (song) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Boy Crazy (song) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 18:12, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
The article Knock Knock (Jasmine song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable song that has failed to chart and has no reliable sources fails WP:NSONGS.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Aspects (talk) 03:47, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Regarding your recent edits
[edit]First, when you hit the "Undo" button it states "If you are undoing an edit that is not vandalism, explain the reason in the edit summary. Do not use the default message only." My removal of the charts was not vandalism and it was explained in the edit summary why it was made, when you reverted without an edit summary you called my edit vandalism and me in turn a vandal. You want to be careful of this on Wikipedia, because some editors take this personally and consider it a personal attack.
Second, you do not WP:OWN any article here on Wikipedia. Once you chose to submit "No Average Angel" as an article, it became everyone's and any one can edit it.
Third, fansites are not considered reliable sources. Please read through this link to see that they are not "reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy."
Fourth, per WP:BRD, once you add something and it gets reverted, you need to discuss the edit by either taking it to the article talk page or discussing it on the other editor's talk page. What you should not do is continually revert. If you want this information kept in the article at this point you need to discuss the issue on the article talk page until a consensus is reached if the information should be in the article. Aspects (talk) 23:55, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- I explained above about how fansites are not reliable sources and gave you the link to the Qikipedia page. So your reversion, [1], makes little sense since you know that fansites are not reliable sources. And I already explained to you about WP:BRD, so once again if you make a bold edit and it gets reverted, it is up to you to discuss and not simply revert back. Aspects (talk) 04:40, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- I have asked for a 3rd opinion request at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Music about the regional Heatseekers charts at No Average Angel, so please wait for a third opinion instead of reverting back. Aspects (talk) 23:10, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
