Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Shanellemc, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was The Airplane Factory, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Please assist with amendments to The Airplane Factory, Sling 2, Sling 4 and Sling TSi
[edit]Good day Greyjoy,
Thank you for your mail. I have been trying to edit our pages for days only to have these revert back the second I exit. Most frustrating! So in terms of these pages, as the Marketing Manager for The Airplane Factory (Now Sling Aircraft), our Directors have asked me to update the pages mentioned in my headline. I am not wanting to punt or promote these pages. I am simply wanting to update our company name, our sales number, the imagery, our logo and our website address as the information currently provided is no longer valid. If I send you the updated information for our company and each aircraft, could you possibly update this on my behalf? Many thanks for your assistance. Shanellemc (talk) 11:08, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

I note you have been appealing to editors to change numbers on this page, plus changing numbers on the Sling Aircraft page. I have had to revert these because you are not providing references for the changes. This is an encyclopedia, so we need to cite references, as per the policy explained at WP:PROVEIT. The numbers can be changed when you can provide references. This should be pretty easy to do, just add the information to the company website and we can use that.
Also, as noted above you are in a conflict of interest regarding these articles since you have stated that you work for the manufacturer. As a result you need to stop trying to edit the pages on the company and its products and, instead make suggestions for changes on the associated talk pages so they can be evaluated by neutral editors. It is worth keeping in mind that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not your company website. - Ahunt (talk) 12:23, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- Good day Ahunt. I now understand that they are unable to amend the sales numbers as this is not information we share on our website but is instead internal information on our Master Sales Sheet. I would however appreciate if you could update all characteristics, specs and performance related numbers for each model as this information is freely available on each of our product pages listed here: https://www.slingaircraft.com/aircraft/sling-2/. https://www.slingaircraft.com/aircraft/sling-4/. https://www.slingaircraft.com/aircraft/sling-tsi/. Many thanks. Shanellemc (talk) 11:11, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
- Okay, let me have a look though those. Keep in mind that we normally pick one version for specs, and not necessarily a current production model, since we are a history website and not a marketing website.
- Also, as warned above, you need to stop editing the articles about your company's products before you get blocked and instead make suggestions on the relevant talk pages. Fundamentally Wikipedia is a project to create a public encyclopedia, it is not your company marketing website and does not necessarily present company approved information. - Ahunt (talk) 12:59, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
