Refresh

I'm going to refresh this talk page now. Please continue posting and J Di, for once don't revert my changes. After all, it is MY talk page. Thanks!Shaggy9872004 09:37, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

This talk page doesn't belong to you. If you want to remove things from your talk page, you need to provide a link to the previous version or archive it. As for the The Wedge article, you're doing it again. I tried to discuss something, and was ignored so I did what I wanted to do. You're still reverting my edits without discussing them. I'm going to leave a 3RR warning here. Please discuss "linking" the first and second paragraphs on the talk page. JDtalk 09:40, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, don't modify other people's comments either. JDtalk 11:08, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Do not remove warnings from your user talk page

Please do not remove legitimate warnings from your talk page or replace them with inappropriate content. Removing or maliciously altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted legitimate comments. If you continue to remove or vandalize legitimate warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. By the way, there is no restart button on a user talk page. You're just removing the warnings by your own free will instead of archiving them, which you should know better than to do. Power level (Dragon Ball) 17:10, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

3RR warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. JDtalk 09:40, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Fair use images

You can't use images that have fair use licensing tags on your user page. JDtalk 11:10, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I've removed Image:Dumbledoreharris1.jpg from your user page for the second time. Please don't re-insert it or any other fair use image. JDtalk 08:04, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

3RR warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. JDtalk 08:04, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

So is this your come back, the same one like always. Stuff like this doesn't make you superior. It's cowardice.Shaggy9872004 08:06, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
You can call it what you like, but you are reverting against consensus and being disruptive. It would make things much easier if you had more patience and waited for consensus before making the edits you want to make; if you're so sure they're better than what's in the article now, you will get consensus quickly. JDtalk 08:09, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from editing. JDtalk 08:12, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

I didn't revert anything.Shaggy9872004 08:14, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
What's this then? If you can't stop revert warring, at least comment about it on the talk page. JDtalk 08:16, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Those are only a few words with an exact same meaning as you want, except with different wording. I hopr this answers your question.Shaggy9872004 08:21, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
They don't have the same meaning. Has is present tense. Was never is past tense. That part of the article needs to use past tense. JDtalk 08:22, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
You do realise that some TV critics didn't even comment don't you? However, I will now go and change wording.Shaggy9872004 08:25, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Most television critics won't have; not everybody jumps on board to attack something just because the opportunity is there. If you're going to change the wording, could you at least change it back to what's been agreed upon? JDtalk 08:28, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Editing others' talk pages

Please do not edit the user pages of other contributors without their approval or consent. It may be seen as vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please visit the sandbox. JDtalk 08:29, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

3RR warning

It's extremely hypocritical of you to leave a 3RR warning on my talk page; if anything, I should be warning you. You're reverting edits again without joining ongoing discussions on the talk page here, here, and here. 3RR warnings apply to you as well, so try that discussion thing you're telling me about. Remain civil

It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. JDtalk 10:49, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

Do not remove AfD tags

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. JDtalk 23:49, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Please stop removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Dean Geyer — it is considered vandalism. You may comment at the respective page if you oppose an article's deletion. Thanks. JDtalk 23:52, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Sorry J Di but time 0of the debate is truly over. It was started on 27 November and now it's 3 December. Way over the 5 day limit of debating. I will request a block for you, if you don't stop this nonsense.Shaggy9872004 23:53, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
You can do that if you want to. Debates aren't always closed when they are supposed to be, and you voted so you can't close it anyway. Wait for somebody uninvolved to close it. JDtalk 23:56, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Please stop removing Articles for deletion notices and comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages. If you continue to remove them, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. JDtalk 23:55, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Unexplained revert

I want to know why you're reverting my edits on The Wedge (TV show). JDtalk 01:10, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

It's more to the point: short, shrp and clear.Shaggy9872004 01:33, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
It's removal of important information. Revert it back. JDtalk 01:35, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Adding the word Indian is not important and plus, they aren't from India, they are supposedly from Wedgdale, we never actually find out, all we know is that Harebijhan and Danica are Indian, it doesn't mean they are in India. I will not revert it back because this false info.Shaggy9872004 01:38, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
If they are Indian, and everybody else isn't, it is important and worthy of inclusion. JDtalk 01:39, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
All the people who work in the call centre are Indian, it is not worthy of inclusion.Shaggy9872004 01:41, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
But everybody else in the show is meant to be Australian, right? JDtalk 01:43, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Yes, but they don't work in an Indian call centre called Wedgetel. The Work in a 'Wedgedalian' call centre in Wedgedale. Plus, some other characters like Marieliese are Sth African, Tarquin and Lucretia are goths and Fat Mandi is British but you may of course say that Harebijhan and Danica are Indians.Shaggy9872004 01:48, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Where does the Indian come in then? It can't have been put in the article for no reason. JDtalk 01:47, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
It was obviously a mistake.Shaggy9872004 01:48, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
No it wasn't. JDtalk 01:51, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Prove it, I have proofShaggy9872004 01:53, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
How can you prove that it was obvious? That's a matter of opinion. JDtalk 01:53, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
It was mistake, are you happy now?Shaggy9872004 01:56, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
No, not really. I still don't know what to believe. JDtalk 02:00, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
You want proof, here's proof, just click on meet the residents of Wedgedale, scroll down until you see call centre and read.[7]Shaggy9872004 02:02, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
I didn't say I want proof, so I don't know why you're shoving some link in my face. JDtalk 02:05, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, if you said you don't believe me then you should expect proof shoved in your face. Well, do you believe me now or are you going to put up an argument? Shaggy9872004 02:06, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
I didn't say I didn't believe you; I said I didn't know what to believe. Stop dragging this conversation out already; I don't care about what you have to say. JDtalk 02:09, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Image:DDOOTP.jpg is a copyrighted image; it should not have been released into the public domain. I have deleted it and removed it from your user page and the article it was on. If you wish to re-upload it, please use the correct fair use tag and include a detailed fair use rationale. JDtalk 08:42, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

"Vandalism" in edit summaries

Please read WP:VAND and be careful of what you call vandalism when you are reverting edits that appear to have been made in good faith. Thanks. JDtalk 09:07, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

It's unsourced info and clearly bias against the show, that should be easily considered as vandalism. Shaggy9872004 09:11, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Well it isn't. Read WP:VAND. JDtalk 09:11, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Clean up

Are you prepared to clean up this piece of text that you re-added to The Wedge (TV show)? JDtalk 10:37, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

I am prepared to clean-up as long as you either help, give me examples or lead the entire thing up to me and not push a word in anything.Shaggy9872004 05:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
It's already up to you. Nobody else is going to do it. If you can't do it, it should be removed. JDtalk 07:27, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
You and the other users must give me time, five days will do.Shaggy9872004 09:47, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
And it needs to be on the article in the condition it's in while we all have to wait? Why can't you work on it in your user space or something? JDtalk 18:58, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:789302.jpg

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:789302.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. JDtalk 10:48, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationales

Do not remove {{no rationale}} from images unless you are prepared to add a detailed fair use rationale to the image pages. Information on how to write a fair use rationale is available at Help:Image page#Fair use rationale. JDtalk 11:43, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

JD is correct. Fair-use rationales must be specific to an individual article on the Wikipedia and must identify that article and provide a rationale specific to that article. See WP:FU. Additionally, note that AUS law is irrelevant to the Wikipedia which is based in Florida. --Yamla 16:52, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
That is, why must this fair-use image be used in that particular article? Why do we need an image at all, and why must it be fair-use? Remember, we are not permitted to use fair-use images simply to illustrate an article. --Yamla 16:54, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:789897.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:789897.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. J Di talk 07:08, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
