Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Bhopal Express

[edit]

Hi there, noticed your edit on the Bhopal Express page. Just wanted to inform you that i had tried to upload this image https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/df/Bhopal_Express.jpg, but due to some technical reason it is showing some other image.

I have been in touch with another editor who has put in a request for deleting the blurred image so that my image which has the same name but is uploaded through commons will then take its place hence have reverted your edit.

Superfast1111 (talk) 12:03, 20 June 2014 (UTC) Shaane Khan (talk) 12:04, 20 June 2014 (UTC) no problem friend change and then tell me[reply]

I would request you not to unnecessarily crop images as you have done on Jaipur Superfast Express, Andhra Pradesh Express etc. Pls do not use the excuse of clarity as there is sufficient clarity in the images. The background of any image is also important. Superfast1111 (talk) 03:57, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Adding note - Reg.

[edit]
  • Note: As per the rules & regulations of Indian Railways, Departure and Arrival times are liable to change with or without notice. Please visit India Rail Info for exact train timings and information.

Dear Shaane Khan, under what impression were you adding this text into middle of the section which seems to be disturbing the flow in many articles. Are you into promoting India Rail Info, which is a completely user generated site? See WP:EL, regarding external links. --βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 21:15, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Shaane Khan (talk) 11:28, 16 July 2014 (UTC) Dear Balablitz I am not into promoting any website. I want to tell that all train timings are liable to change and this site India rail info has helped me a lot and I don't want people making Wikipedia responsible for all the problem caused by any wrong train timings in any train page . If you brought any Reserved rail ticket you must have noticed that this sentence ' Dep. Times are liable to change' written at the side of the ticket . so that is why I am helping every people who arrange their journey using our site. And it is a humble request to you that PLEASE stop behaving like a bot and please become a human and stop reverting my edits.[reply]

Shaane Khan (talk) 11:31, 16 July 2014 (UTC) and Mr. Balablitz according to WP:EL I have not given a lengthy list of external links so please do not give me any illogical reasons for your revertion.[reply]

Dear Shaane Khan, well then you could suggest one of Wikimedia sister projects, Wikivoyage to the people, you wish to help, because this is WIKIPEDIA - A ENCYCLOPEDIA, not a travel brochure or notice board or a time table. U could have linked with available official links from www.indianrail.gov.in itself. Not only timings are liable too change even some services are liable to cancel at the last minute, should we place that also? Have you ever saw the disclaimer at www.indiarailinfo.com it reads as "The site does NOT claim 100% accuracy....", even disclaimer of Indian Railways also sound similar when it comes to liability. Then how could they be recommended to people? I would recommend you to look WP:ELOFFICIAL, WP:ELYES & WP:ELMAYBE also look relevant peer reviewed and good articles . If you aren't satisfied enough, you may ask more experienced users at WT:TWP or at WT:INB. Thank you. --βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 12:27, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
