Primary and secondary sources
[edit]Your comment to another editor a couple of days ago can be summarized as "Either you believe me or you are wrong and self-absorbed." I can understand the frustration, but you should look at the matter from that editor's point of view. Simply, anybody can arrive and claim to be anybody else and/or to be in possession of primary sources saying this or that. Such claims must be treated skeptically. Now, if what you're saying is correct (and I imagine that it is), please have the Richard Avedon Foundation follow the course I've explained at Talk:Richard Avedon. In the meantime, say anything you like to or about me (I have thick skin), but please assume good faith in other editors (until you're entirely sure that there is none) and treat them politely. -- Hoary (talk) 12:57, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
