[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Brett James. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. The information on his singing career is easily verified, and is just as important to the article as is his songwriting career. Quit whitewashing. I did indeed remove the content concerning James self-titled album and I did specify why. The details included (including especially the album cover, track listing, and recording personnel) are superfluous and detract from the meat of James' career which is writing his for other people. I agree that his music career is easily verifiable and an important footnote in his career, but the album deserves perhaps a separate page for that much information, leaving the discography section simply a bullet list of album(s) and singles.
Also, "musical career" and "return to musical career" are inaccurate. His music career and songwriting career are considered separate entities and i think they should be distinguished on here. (Can we disagree to agree?)
- Then the information should be restructured, not removed. I suppose the album could split back off (it used to be its own article) since there is a review for it, but please don't remove the information. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 23:41, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
