re NHS Hospital template

The proposed merger actually originated as I was contemplating additional parameters that it seemed to be missing, such as association with a Medical School/University, closing (as well as an opening) date, better location information (fails to allow specifying England, Scotland, Wales or N.Ireland). Also the fixed link to List of hospitals in the United Kingdom is wrong now that that page is a disambiguation page to the List of hospital in the relevant country within the UK. In fact, other than Hospital Trust, the template has nothing different from the generic Infobox Hospital template and a lot absent, apart from parameter names not having a capital 1st letter.

As an example, see the change for a test case of St Thomas' Hospital from this NHS template version to this current upgraded generic infobox (note only removes some meaningless statistics and total trust employees is relevant to article on the trust, not one specific hospital in the group). NHS Medical Career Grades

	Old System	New System (Modernising Medical Careers)
Stage 1:	Pre-registration House Officer (PRHO) - one year	Foundation Year 1 - one year
Stage 2:	Senior House Officer (SHO) - 1st year after full registration	Foundation Year 2 - one year
Stage 3:	SHOs - a further two to three years, followed by either a) Specialist Registrar - four to six years, or: b) GP Registrar - one year Either may be extended by pursuing medical research (usually two-three years), usually with clinical duties as well	Specialty Registrar (StR) - combining basic and higher in a single grade: a) hospital speciality: six years b) general practice: three years There are a few opportunities to obtain an Academic Clinical Fellowship for research.
