The Umbrella Academy
Hi, you reverted a change I made to The Umbrella Academy. I deleted this quote and reference since it was misattributed, with the correct quote and reference directly above. I did this once before and it got deleted by someone else ( User:Blablubbs ) because I did not state my reason for it. So, I changed it back with correct reason and link to the falsely quoted article in the edit summary. So I am a bit annoyed that you are calling this vandalism. It is a perfectly legitimate deletion; the article doesn't contain anything that was quoted. 87.214.242.116 (talk) 17:33, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

Explanation
Serols,
Thank you for reaching out to me but I have researched and found that Hendrickś surname in DUTCH is De Rooj, I was just trying to add that in. It may not have been constructive but De Roy is French not Dutch and I was fixing the mistake that somebody else had made. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kohl Thompson (talk • contribs) 17:22, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Kohl Thompson, nice, then you must have a source for it. --Serols (talk) 17:24, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
Thank you but... I joined this site last week and I have absolutely no idea how to that, if you could show me that would really help :). (P.S my momś surname is De vries.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kohl Thompson (talk • contribs) 17:34, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
Ken Davis (journalist)
Hey Serols,
Sorry for bugging you - hoping I don't come off as some troll or something. I'm a little new to the Wikipedia stuffs, and noticed you'd reverted my changes on the Ken Davis (journalist) page. Do you mind expanding/elaborating on what I did wrong? I believe the changes undone were removing the warning banner, as well as allowing it to be indexed by searches.
Thanks for the work you've been doing, and looking forward to the chance to learn!

- Hello Wiccicone, you deleted the infobox including the photo. You can avoid mistakes if you use the preview button. You are not bugging me. Regards --Serols (talk) 09:52, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
About changes on the page Image_meta_search
Hello, Serols! I think you make a mistake reverting changes on the page Image_meta_search. I added one of the image search providers at the list - the one that actually is an image search provider. I really want to make changes in the right way, so, please, tell me how can I convince that this change is reasonable?

- Hello Valyaeva.alina, I don't think i made a mistake. All other providers have their own page in Wikipedia and no external link. Your provider is not relevant. Regards --Serols (talk) 07:13, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
Article for deletion
I want to vote on deleting the draft of the Life and Death (Vietnamese drama) article because the article is quite sketchy so I don't think this article should appear on Wikipedia. Ben Preston OHLA (talk) 08:46, 27 September 2020 (UTC)

Hi,
I know that you delete vandalism, and what you deleted on Kuruluş: Osman wasn't vandalism, so you just changed it back but the edit that person made was quite unnecessary and everything was fine before his edit and it made more sense and I just want to let you know that I undid his edits. Also, what you did was 100% okay and you didn't need to say sorry. Limorina (talk) 18:34, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hello Limorina, removing the vandalism of the IP should be my last work on Wikipedia yesterday. Only I accidentally caught the user. I had no more time and have therefore withdrawn my editing. Regards --Serols (talk) 07:15, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
Eastern Anatolia Region
Hello, Serols. Thanks for helping with the problem user on Eastern Anatolia Region. I just wanted to let you know that I had already reverted their edits twice. I just didn't want it to seem like we were beginning an edit war, the page should be protected soon. EDIT: Ok, the problem IP has been blocked, so this should be the end of that. Thank you for your assistance. Thanks, EDG 543 (talk) 13:13, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hello EDG 543, please forgive my late answer, would watch the article too. Regards --Serols (talk) 07:16, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
- Assalamu Alaykum, do you really think you can label users, claim they are edit warring and get away with it? I am reporting both of you. I did not edit war but was unfairly blocked. You can censor me here but you cannot ever censor the truth out in the real world. Good luck, 157.167.128.180 (talk) 06:24, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for the information. It is known that some Turks deny the genocide of the Armenians and you were rightly blocked. --Serols (talk) 07:13, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

Your edit to the Association of Tennis Professionals
Hello, you have reverted my edit to the Association of Tennis Professionals article claiming to be non-constructive. I would like to ask you to elaborate more on the non-constructive nature of adding a link to the disambiguation page ATP, which is the most known abbreviation but is not the only ATP in the world. I would argue, it is more constructive to know about the ATP biochemical compound, than about a sport. Thank you!
- Hello, you are right, I reverted my edit. Regards --Serols (talk) 14:17, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
Why did you undo my edit?
It says on my notifications you removed something I wrote on wiki love article. Also, it said you gave me a message on my talk page but then when I viewed it, it said the message doesn't exist. Please explain yourself. Toad62 (talk) 18:29, 7 October 2020 (UTC)

West Germany
Hello, you changed my edit to Carl McCunn, specifically the part where I changed that he was born in West Germany to Allied-occupied Germany. West Germany didn't exist until 1949, and he was born in 1946. Also, In the "early life" section of the article, someone else already changed "West Germany" to just "Germany," so if my edit stays reverted, it will be inconsistent with that part of the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.99.133.126 (talk) 16:55, 22 October 2020 (UTC)

Where are the sources of the false names that are on the site now? Owner says these peoples names were never part of Mayflower mall. I have asked client to provide me a source. Ajua
Ajua is a Mancala game that is very popular in Kenya. Why revert the edit of adding it to the list when there was a reasonable reference? There appeared to be a redirect from Ajua to another page, which seems not to have an explanation of why it is a redirect. While not a full article, the redirect seems to be confusing Benson Muite (talk) 12:07, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

- Hello Materialscientist, the IP has deleted the section for no apparent reason, no source, or equivalent. I'm not a child, I made that edit for a reason. -> is also no reason to disregard the rules of Wikipedia.
- Your hint you are risking to get blocked yourself for editing warring, therefore I don't understand.
- The Wikipedia rules are clear: Except for egregious cases, the user must have been given enough warning(s) to stop their disruptive behavior.
- This means that you have to create 3 to 4 warnings, this I did. If one considers the rules, is with your definition all edit war. Regards --Serols (talk) 13:39, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
- IP has explained their deletion. At that point you should have make a decision: whether you treat this as vandalism or a content dispute; this decision is yours and you are responsible for that.
- If you decide this is a content dispute, you can only tag them for edit warring and lack of summaries. In this case you use WP:BRD and WP:3RR policies. Ideally you don't reach 3RR, but wait for an evaluation by a 3rd editor. Materialscientist (talk) 08:07, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
- If edits are clear vandalism, tag and report them as usual. If this is not clear vandalism, but rather a violation of WP policies (like unexplained removal of reliably sourced content) then I would recommend talking to the editor/IP instead of templating/reporting. They might see something you are missing (violation of WP:NPOV, unreliable sourcing, etc. - usually they spend more time on evaluation that patrollers), and here you are risking more than just a 24 hour block for edit warring. Cheers. Materialscientist (talk) 08:07, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hello Materialscientist, this is not a rule-compliant declaration,(This isn't a thing 🤦🏻♂️, and please read the talk-page. Have a nice day --Serols (talk) 16:58, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
