Thanks
[edit]You're a real godsend to my time-wasting here at Wikipedia. If I could impose on you a favor, could you look at the Plasma cosmology page? Your comments on that page would be greatly appreciated.

The problem with "light-hearted"
[edit]Serjeant, the problem with "light-hearted" is that it implies that the source is not reliable. If the source isn't reliable, it, and the text it supports, should not be in the article. I see no reason to doubt the reliability of the source in this case. The article was not a serious examination of Odone's past, but there is no reason to believe The Independent would allow the article to contain potentially defamatory remarks. I can't log in any more!
[edit]Hello. This is user:serjeant writing. I can't log in any more. I did not change my password; the only thing that changed is the additional requirement to input some text displayed in an image. I tried to log in several times, cleared my browser cookies, allowed all cookies, but all to no avail. I then tried the "email new password" button but unfortunately it seems no email address is stored for my wikipedia account. Please could someone help?
Many thanks,
Stephen Serjeant
- Hmmm, have you checked your keyboard locks? *Cremepuff222* "As cool as grapes..." 21:13, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for your extremely quick response to my request for help! Yes, I tried the obvious checks for caps lock errors, and tried pasting the password from some plain text to be sure there were no typing errors, as well as trying to type the password in by hand. Any other thoughts? Many thanks and best wishes, Stephen Serjeant
- If you don't have your email enabled and you can't remember your password, you may have to start with a new account. You might try logging in from a different computer, but I can't think of much else to suggest. --After Midnight 0001 22:47, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- Have you tried the secure site?--Werdan7T @ 22:50, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
I am no longer using this account because I can't log in. My new account is stephenserjeant
[edit]Many thanks to those of you above who very kindly and quickly volunteered to help me try to fix this account, but it seems a new account is the only way forward. All the best, Stephen Serjeant.
