Information icon Hello, I'm Sam Sailor. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, AMD Patriot, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sam Sailor 18:49, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Operating two accounts

[edit]

I have blocked your undisclosed alternative account. Please note that users operating more than one account can only do so if such use complies with Wikipedia:Sockpuppetry#Legitimate uses. DrKay (talk) 21:16, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

might I elaborate that we are two completely different people? CEP (talk) 16:51, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, DrKay, we are two completely unrelated people. Given that we are friends in real life, we enjoy helping each other out when we get into scraps. You are assuming, of course, since we have the same IP address, that we are the same person. In fact, If you look closer, there are a couple of other users that also share the same IP. This is a school's administrative Wifi. CEP (talk) 16:58, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Occasionally, a user will edit Wikipedia using the same IP address as another user who then becomes blocked. As a result, the first user will be shown a block message describing the other user's activity. If you receive a block notice about actions that you were not involved with, don't worry; stay calm. Simply ask for assistance as described below, and the matter will be investigated. CEP (talk) 17:01, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't belive that these edits violate COI laws nor meatpuppetry. For that to be valid, Kubic's account would have had to be non-existent prior to this incident. We have edited completely different things, I being a car editor (but occasionally do edit boats as well), and I have made 75 edits, most of which are actual text edits, and I believe that Kubic has made edits to the Simple English wikipedia for a period of time. You might want to refer to the chevrolet camaro article for one of my most comprehensive edits. CEP (talk) 17:25, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited MG ZS (crossover), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Crossover. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
