Thank you for your post to my talk-page. I've replied on the AfD page regarding the article; as to spam/advertising, it's a constant problem for many articles (and many are much worse than yours). The only solution is to regularly check the article and remove any inappropriate edits. Russian language sources

From WP:VUE, non-English sources are acceptable when there are no English-language sources of comparable quality, so to answer your question: yes, you can use Russian-language sources. Professional translations are recommended for verifiability, but in my experience these probably won't be insisted on. Hope this helps, EyeSerene^talk 10:06, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

I think the article is greatly improved and the references provide much of the verifiability we need. It may be helpful to establish early on in the article (perhaps in the lead) why AnyLogic is notable. Example text:

AnyLogic is a multi-method simulation modeling tool created during the late 1990s at Saint-Petersburg Technical University. Based on an earlier project funded by a Hewlett Packard research grant, AnyLogic is now developed by XJ Technologies and used by companies such as IBM, Boeing, General Electric, General Motors, Mitsubishi, and Siemens, as well as in universities worldwide.

We could really do with an independent reference for the "used by many companies and universities" claim (I'm assuming Yuri G. Karpov is associated with AnyLogic), but hopefully my suggestion is helpful in showing how notability can be proved. I'm fairly happy that with the improvements you've already made and the developments you are intending to make, we should keep the article. I'll withdraw my deletion nomination, but as you say others may have different opinions so the AfD will remain open until it's closed by an uninvolved administrator (normally around five days). German flagged revisions

I'm not very familiar with how the German Wikipedia operates, but I think you'll just have to wait until one of their article reviewers has checked over the unflagged version and marked it as good to go 'live'.
