Zorki
[edit]I do not agree with your assessment of my edits to the Zorki article as "all rumors and myths." The information added was carefully researched, and although it's possible that I inadvertently made a few errors (i.e. referring to the "Mir" as the "Zorki Mir"), there are not "severe errors in descriptions of almost all Zorki cameras" and the article is a major step forward in comprehensiveness and quality from the previous version. Anything you think may be mistaken should be rechecked and changed if necessary, but reverting to the previous version is not "the best starting point" for improving the article.
With regard to your specific accusations, the Industar-22 is described in many different sources as an "Elmar copy." If you do not believe this is the case, I would like to see a source indicating otherwise. If the term "copy" offends you it could be changed to something else like "similar in design to the Leitz Elmar," for instance. I am unable to see why the "term 'flash version' can not be applied to Zorki-2S," since the 2S was essentially a 2 with flash sync added and a slightly modified housing to accommodate it. As the previous version of the article states (regarding S, 2S, and 3S), "All these cameras were modifications of corresponding previous models. Adjustable synchro-contact was added (with a forestall regulator for switching between magnesium and electronic flashes)." The only major difference between the 2 and 2S is the addition of flash provisions. And the reason the Zorki 3M was released was to eliminate the potentially unreliable separate slow-speeds mechanism of the 3 by combining fast and slow speeds on the same dial.
If you believe any of this information to be incorrect you should make appropriate changes in the article, but the article can be better improved by correcting inaccuracies than by reverting to the previous version, which was fraught with grammatical mistakes and contained a great deal less information.
