A Britons opinion on a Russian's opinion.
[edit]"If You are from Scotland you are considered Scottish not British, as Scotland uses it's own currency. It is offensive to call a Scotsman British as he is not from Britain, he is from Scotland, Scotland is aligned with Britain yes, but it it not considered a state of Britain therefore you can't consider Scots as British."
Hi there sorry to bother you but, Scotland uses the Pound Sterling, as do all British states. I myself am a Scotsman, British is a citizenship, it means of the United Kingdom/Great Britain which means legally and literally Scottish people are also British. "Scotland is aligned with Britain" Actually... Scotland is an integral part of Britain itself, it has been since 1707 when the two countries of England and Scotland merged to form the modern country of Britain. (The process of unification was begun in 1603 when a Scottish king inherited the English throne). I think you are confusing the words 'Britain' and 'England'.
Simply put;
1. All of Britain use the same currency regardless of which bank prints it. 2. Scotland is and has always been a part of Britain as have Scottish people, indeed, a Scottish man is leader of Britain at the moment. 3. It's not offensive to most of us as it's fact. 4. England does not equal Britain.
