I saw this [1] because someone removed a comment while I was trying to write a reply on reliable sources noticeboard. No question that the comments about being russian paid or something were out of line, but I think that it would be better to try to address the real concerns for the writer rather than just try to get them blocked. Someone removing content from a clear reliable source, saying that they did it because of the talk page when the consensus in the talk doesn't support them [2] is a problem. USNavelObservatory (talk) 15:04, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the message. Regardless of whether you think you're right or wrong, NPA is Wikipedia policy and needs to be followed. If the IP editor was addressing the actual concerns they had, that wouldn't be an issue, but bandying about allegations of "Russian stooge" and "on Russia's payroll" helps nobody, and makes it all-bar impossible to engage with the actual concerns. I'll have a look at the page in a little bit as I've had it on my watchlist for a while (hence how the comments came up) given repeated attempts to remove information about Ritter being a sex offender - so it wouldn't surprise me if there was whitewashing going on as a whole. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 15:07, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- I have restored the removed content at least, since it's clear it was removed against not just one but two discussion consensuses. USNavelObservatory (talk) 15:50, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

Question from Silopsone (22:00, 8 November 2023)
Hello! Why was my edit on Novak Djokovic reverted? As I stated to Knitsey it is all absolutely factual and has been admitted to on various tennis shows.
Let me know!
Silop --Silopsone (talk) 22:00, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Silopsone:, as I wasn't involved in this there's not much I can really do. Though I do note that on Knitsey's talk page she has just responded to you. I think you may find your answer there. Best, ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 22:04, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
Question from DavidHPFreedom (12:42, 15 November 2023)
Howdy, I'd like to link one wikipedia page to another for my first edit. Is that simple and straightforward enough to figure out the process? --DavidHPFreedom (talk) 12:42, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @DavidHPFreedom:, do you mean to add a link to a Wikipedia page in the text of another page? If so, check out Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking. If not, please let me know what you refer to and I'll do my best to help. Thanks! ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 16:57, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
Question from 11Lathe (18:47, 25 October 2023)
Hello mentor! I am wondering if there is a way for me to link my English-language wikipedia user page and my French wikipedia user page? There is the handy language toggle on all pages and I’d love to learn how to create/connect translations. Thanks! --11Lathe (talk) 18:47, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @11Lathe:, to find out how to do this, check out the instructions on Help:Interwiki_linking#Interlanguage_links. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 19:32, 25 October 2023 (UTC)

Question from Dennis.insect.filmer on Talk:Waltherhornia (13:42, 19 November 2023)
Hi,
I'm new and don't see how to leave an error notice on the talk page for the Wikipedia page Waltherhornia.
On that page, the link Waltherhornia speculifera takes you to Waltherhornia again. There doesn't seem to be any species page.
Thanks --Dennis.insect.filmer (talk) 13:42, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Dennis.insect.filmer:, and welcome to Wikipedia! As there appears to be no specific page for Walterhornia speculifera, you would be able to remove the link per WP:SELFRED. You can remove this by removing the two squared brackets ([) at the start and end of the link on the page, or if you're editing in visual editor, clicking the link and pressing the "Remove link" button in red. Hope this helps! ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 13:57, 19 November 2023 (UTC)

- Hi @Cynthia2389:, I'm afraid I can't see any page creation in your contributions. What page are you talking about? ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 22:36, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
