Tips
- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Photos
[edit]Hello,
Welcome to Wikipedia.
I have removed some photos that you have inserted in different pages because they look like promotional material. Since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, please use photos that are representational.

- @Chaipau But I added those photos because the photos Wikipedia uses are very bad. Please redo it 🙏🏻 the pictures I added aren't promotional or something. Sengsi off (talk) 13:32, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- The photo you have used is of a model and definitely staged. This photo conveys nothing but the vision of the producer of this photo. It may be nice and beautiful but it does not depict reality. What we need is "national geographic"---a high quality photo taken in situ. Till we have it, a low quality photo taken in situ is more acceptable than ex situ. Chaipau (talk) 23:04, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Chaipau But the original picture on Wikipedia is only of Bodo dance and Bodo-Kachari includes all the Kachari tribe not just Bodo. And the picture I added is the traditional dress of all Bodo-Kachari people. Sengsi off (talk) 15:35, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Chaipau Please please please add the photo I added back including the original Wikipedia one 😭🙏🏻 Sengsi off (talk) 15:38, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
- I am not sure there is a "dress" of all Bodo-Kachari people. Could you please cite a reference? Chaipau (talk) 15:48, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
