Feedback on your article
[edit]Hello Selinah1996, Thank you for writing your article in your sandbox! I have read the article and would like to give some feedback to improve your article to Wikipedia standards and customs. I especially will look if it meets the quality standards we have on Wikipedia. I standard look for a series of subjects that need improvement or are okay.
- Intro sentence: textual okay. Good you mention his function in the first paragraph. Please check more existing Wikipedia articles, we make the subject in the first sentence bold. The translation must be prefixed by "English:".
- Links: Missing! Please look for keywords in your article and link them to other Wikipedia articles.
- Headers: The section with the Table of contents should have a header.
- References: Missing! References are for Wikipedia articles a priority one requirement!
- Context/timeframe: okay
- How was the book received: missing?
- Other: What are/is "lay people"? The way how you used hyphens is not working. Use : instead. If you want a section to start on a new line, use an empty line in between.
I hope you can implement this feedback to your sandbox article before our next meeting. Thanks! Romaine (talk) 08:43, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hello Selinah1996, Thank you for improving your article! Last week we specifically asked to make sure you add sources/references to your article, because that is one of the most important parts of a Wikipedia article. We also wanted to make sure the intro sentence/section is ready. Let's see how it is going now.
- Intro sentence: Good!
- Links: Much better! Thank you. Please also link the author and the town in the first sentence.
- Headers: Okay. Only one question: why are "Illusions" and "Pyromania" with a first capital character? I do not think it is needed.
- References: Good improvement! The last paragraph under "Psychiatric approach in the 19th century" needs sources. In the sections of "Content" I like to see references if possible in which part(s) of the book itself this is described. (A small detail: add references behind the dot and no space between the dot and the reference.)
- Context/timeframe: okay, keep in mind that the reader must see/read a relationship between this part and the book.
- How was the book received: ?
- Other: The infobox does not work this way and can only be removed. If you want to use an infobox, please see how this is done in other articles.
- Keep up the good work! :-) Romaine (talk) 01:05, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
Hello Selinah1996, I add the images of the book to your sandbox article. Romaine (talk) 05:44, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
