Speedy deletion of Vladimir Sicinschi

Speedy deletion of Vladimir Sicinschi

This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Thanks for the note! Biographies in Wikipedia have to be about people who are fairly famous, or have otherwise been covered in the news or other reliable sources. Very few people, even among professionals such as doctors, lawyers, or in this case, journalists or musicians, meet the guidelines, see WP:BIO for more details. If Mr. Sicinschi has been covered in the news (or other reliable source) in a fairly detailed way, he may meet the standard. In that case, you should make it clear how he is notable when writing the article, citing sources for relevant facts. If you think the article already met the standard, the best option for you would be deletion review. Let me know if you have any further questions! It is not a problem to cite sources in other languages or in print (so long as they are published), but remember the sources should be about him, not by him. I did a quick google search (not an entirely reliable indicator, of course) for Влади́мир Сичинский (I presume his name in Russian?) and was unable to locate information about him (the first links seemed to be about a historian and art critic of the early 20th C.). If there are reliable and independent, published biographies or biographical information about him, it would probably go a long way to establishing his notability. Tea Drinker, just so you know in his country internet advertisment and in internet in general is not developed as in other countries and it would be a discrimination to judge based on this. I was goimg to post some pictures with him that i have as my own sources where you can defenitely see him on big stages performing. Other than that it's impossible to identify his notability unless you go to Moldova. As I said of course he is not a huge star but known enough by people. While I can appreciate your concern that Moldovian internet access may not be the same as, for instance, the US. However try to see it from the perspective of Wikipedia's editors: everything in the article must be verifiable through published reliable sources (think of what a mess we'd be in if not). Sources could, of course, be in any language and do not have to be online. But pictures of him on a stage are not sufficient to verify facts in the article. Let me know if you have further questions. What do you want me to do then? Go back to Moldova and find old newspapers and scan them? Look I think it's impossible and it's unfair that you don't cooperate with people wich can be potencial factors for wikipedia's future development. I appreciate that you are being a strict edtitor, but don't under appreciate my intensions and please try to understand that there is no other way for me to proove even the name is worth to on wikipedia. Just help me to republish it and we'll se how it works, I will try eventually to add more facts and documents to the page. Thank you for understanding.

I'm not sure why you'd have to scan the newspapers--just locate them, however if you don't think you can find reliable sources indicating notability, I'm afraid we're at an impasse. I appreciate your concerns for the development of Wikipedia (in fact, bias is a frequent topic of discussion), however Wikipedia, as a fundamental goal, only reports what is verifiable.
