Welcome, Sedcom. I see you have created a page for Owen Cook. I left some comments on the talk page about how to go about developing the article such that it will be a quality wikipedia article and so that people won't try to delete it frivolously like they did with the old Real Social Dynamics article. If it is placed on articles for deletion, drop me a line, and I will vote to keep it, since I believe that a well-sourced and neutral article on Cook can be written. If you are an employee or affiliate of RSD, keep in mind that Wikipedia is committed to articles with a neutral point of view, and is not a place for commercial promotion (and one guaranteed way to get people to try to delete the article is if it looks overly promotional). Furthermore, if there are any reliable sources out there that say less-than-positive things about Cook/RSD, those things might get mentioned in the article. However, I have noticed that recent articles on Cook tend to be positive, so I think that it will be possible for a balanced picture to emerge. Let me know if you have any questions on my comments or on how best to develop and maintain the article, since I have written and maintained various seduction community-related articles on Wikipedia over the past few years. --SecondSight (talk) 05:49, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

David DeAngelo Biography and marketing brochures

[edit]

Please reconsider your recent edits here restoring non-useful information regarding the subject of the biography. Your stated reason for this edit (tagline) was product list provides consistency with other notable members of the seduction community. That seems more to be rationale for cleaning up the other articles that are attempting to be marketing brochures as well. You might be better served going to those articles, since you are familiar with them, and deleting (or condensing as I originally did) those un-needed and improper lists. The goal of the article shouldn't include a competition between other so-called notables of this community.

I have no problem with mentioning that he produces such products, and individuals interested in him will be able to go to his sites and find out about the specific items for sale, if they wish. However, listing them in their entirety serves no discernible purpose when it comes to understanding the life and background of Mr. Pagan.

I would also like to direct you to the relevant policy regarding content-less lists of products as promulgated on the WikiProject page for this article. --Quartermaster (talk) 17:22, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nick Savoy

[edit]

Hi Sedcom,

Is there a way you can help out on the Nick Savoy page? His page is all cleaned up but it's undergoing deletion review right now. We could use some votes to keep it. Thanks!Coaster7 (talk) 01:35, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, just missed it - it looks like they already toasted it on the same day you messaged me. Next time I'll chime in.Sedcom (talk) 03:07, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
