User talk:SebastianEuraque/Sandbox Hartford Public Schools
Hi Sebastian!
I liked your article on the Hartford Public Schools page. You included a lot of information and have a very neutral tone, and it appears very well researched. I think the page could be enhanced if you include a broader introductory paragraph to explain the history and familiarize the reader with the district you are talking about. Also, all of the sources mainly come from the Hartford Schools website, which could be an issue with too many primary sources. The article would likely be stronger if you can find outside news articles or other sources to add additional info!
I appreciated your use of tables, lists, and figures in your article and will definitely be incorporating those components into my own article!

[edit]Might consider adding a little bit more to the intro paragraph. Also, move the Infobox to the very top of the page. That way the text will wrap around it rather than the box moving down as you add text. I agree with Sofia, would be good to add history to the intro, or possibly add a dedicated history section to the article. I would consider reordering your list as a both alphabetical as well as grouped by grade level. For example:
School | Type | Grade Level |
---|---|---|
Aa | Elementary | K-3 |
Ba | Elementary | K-3 |
Ca | Elementary | K-3 |
Ab | Middle | 4-8 |
Bb | Middle | 4-8 |
Cb | Middle | 4-8 |
Or as another option make your table sortable so people can either sort by type, grade level, or alphabetical. Like:
School | Type | Grade Level |
---|---|---|
Aa | Elementary | K-3 |
Ba | Elementary | K-3 |
Ca | Elementary | K-3 |
Ab | Middle | 4-8 |
Bb | Middle | 4-8 |
Cb | Middle | 4-8 |
Finally, you need to cite your demographic numbers. Other than that good. --Nrjean (talk) 16:46, 24 October 2018 (UTC)
