[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added such as to the page Seaton, Devon do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A caravan site? How is that not a spam link? Simple Bob (talk) 14:17, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit]RESPONSE (please visit my user page for further information) The caravan site has been removed, the remaining deletions have been reinstated as they relate community-wise and information-wise to Seaton and do not conflict with many other links left behind.
- Why did you remove dmoz? Why did you reinstate the other links which clearly conflict with WP:ELNO? Explain. In the meantime I have reverted your edit. --Simple Bob (talk) 18:52, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- You should read WP:COI. You should not use Wikipedia to promote a website that you are involved with. --Simple Bob (talk) 19:00, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
I didn't remove the dmoz, I just reverted the edit and that took out your change. why didn't you communicate with me prior to making changes. If everyone who has an interest in the community is not allowed to edit the site because they have an interest, then it leaves little to be done except by outsiders such as yourself who believe they know better.
Seaton Business Forum is a community website, you take that out but leave in the tramway and others... seems opinionated and arrogant to me.
