Eimantas

[edit]

Sorry I missed the review. When I got back, it skipped my mind. After some more investigation, I still endorse the deletion. The formal notability requirement is that the subject is covered in multiple independent sources in a significant way. The only qualified source you showed was a rather short article in regional newspaper Kauno diena. That fails the "multiple" requirement. The link to Delfi.lt just shows that he wrote some articles on Eurovision -- good for him, but that's not coverage about him. The link to kaunodienos.lt just mentions his name -- not "significant coverage" but just a simple "mention". Looking elsewhere on the net, I can only find copies of Wikipedia articles, self-published personal blog and profile, and bunch of automated reports. And as a show biz personality you would really expect more coverage. Maybe he will become one day, but as of now it just does not up to "multiple" and "significant". Good luck, Renata (talk) 11:45, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Eimantas Paltarackas pics001.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
